Default Nintendo DS - Nintendogs?

Definitely considering getting this game. Looks to be very adorable. I played a demo of it in GameStop, and it seems like a good time, and I like the use of the stylus. The only problem I have is with the price tag... paying almost $30 for something that's hardly a video game, and more of a Tamagotchi than anything else, seems slightly obnoxious. Has anyone on here actually purchased this game, and if so, was it worth the money? I'd like to get one eventually (having a difficult time deciding which to get, though I'm leaning toward the one that lets you pick a Shiba Inu ^^), it's really a shame it's so pricy for what it is, otherwise I'd just get all three. Heh. ^^; So... thoughts on Nintendogs? Waste of money? Cool concept? ... Discuss. heh.

Haha true, but just because a game is fun for a short while doesn't always mean it's worth shelling out the cash for... ^^; Have you played it yourself?

I dunno if it's worth it or not. Could be good, but it could also be a complete waste of money because they really are pointless.

It looks like it could be fun... but its the type of game that you are supposed to keep coming back to... If that doesn't bother you, then go for it

Personally I'd hire it and if I'm still interested after that I would further my interest in purchasing it.

Although I haven't tried it myself.

Still, could be good. I think that game would be kinda pointless to the point where people will get frustrated at it and throw it against the wall.

My impression is that it would just be The Sims animalized. You play it until you realize it's pointless, then you never pick it up again. I actually think it will be good. I'll pick it up after I get Advance Wars: Duel Strike.

Okay, well I picked up this game last night... It's very cute! So far I've taught my dog "sit", "shake", and "lie down"... however he doesn't seem to listen now when I tell him to sit XD; I think the mic has issues with that one since it's such a short word... the guy at GameStop did warn me about that XD; But it seems very cute and interesting so far. ^^;

I've got too many other games to get to consider looking at nintendogs. I still gotta get myself a copy of the new armored core that's coming out, a copy of ff tactics again, ohhh, the list goes on.
