Is anyone intrested in doing some interactive story writing? It involes just writing out the adventure and assuming your character wins most of their battles. A few rules.
1)No out of Game thinking
2)No God Characters
3)No taking control of PC (PM to ask premission)
4)No killing of PC's
Well that's about it. Any one interseted?

No No No. This won't be pens and dice RPG. It's more of a collabritive story writing event.
Umm when you write you will write 3rd person to you PC. We will see their thoughts and no one elses. I'm trying to keep this as a serious thing so please keep that in mind

and also what do you mean about no killing PC's???

Not killing the Player Characters. If I am writing then I will try allow you to contorl your own character. Also I won't bring in a horde of raving orcs and kill you. If theirs is a horde of orcs then all PC will survive. Not so for the NPC's

For the First I think a medi-evil fantsy style, you know traditional. All you really need to make clear is race and class. I will post a staring story and example character post later if there is intrest

id love tio join in but im useless at writing such items of litrature, i know i could do it if i wanted, but sometimes my stories can sound rather crapy or fantastic.

ill think about what i should write and then i may write a post.

k I think I'll start off the story in a bit, but first here's some of my character information:

Name: Nerevar (yes, from Morrowind)
Class: Nightblade (sort of an Assassin Mage)
Race: Human

Abilities:

• Can make himself completely invisible for a major drain on mana
• Can slightly blend in with the surroundings for a lesser drain
• Can summon a shadow spirit called Ratain but it drains a full mana supply
• Speed: Very Fast
• Agility: Quite lithe and agile

Dress: Black Gei with open face

Weapons:

• Throwing Stars/Knives
• Jitte
• Wakizashi

i think im going to pass on the chance to actualy play, however, mabey i can help out. i help run a simm like this, druad you rmissing the point, its not about your character level, its about your cahracter as a person, imagine your writing a novel, in third person, i can provide something ive written as an example if you like.

Combat is typily symplisting, since rules of common courtsy mean you only the owner of a character can kill it, you typicaly always win, teh goal here is to delovpe a good stroy, and to make your character come to life, adding small quirks and traits (for example my character is lerris he drinks weapons grade coffee, you know coffee that would fight you for the spoon if it got much stronger, Lerris is also a master of the slight of hand, so he frequently is suddenly holding an object noones seen untill just then (usaly a tool, or some paperwork, though it does have some combat abilities. fianly twist in his character, he used to do black ops, but he quit (a story in it self) so while hes usualy cheerfull and seeming carefree, he sometimes has black moods or will show insight into something you woudlnt expect him to)

the goal here is pure RP (assuming ive got the correct intent here), when your done you should be able to take all the assembled posts and make a small novel that (hopfully) reads decently. my subject of choice is Startrek, but regardless, the principal is the same, you want a good story not a pissing contest (which it can easily become)

Im told I am good at writing stories, and developing characters; However, I SUCK at coming up with names for them.
I mean really suck. They all either get a really stupid name like Dave, Steve or Roger, or a really weird name, like Nall, Jaya, or Larissa. It's a serious problem...

PS: What do you mean by "no out of game thinking?" So I can't think about non story stuff here? Because that could be a monkey wrench in the gears so to speak. Or are we just not alowed to type things other than from the PC's point of view?
