Probably what you're looking for that you don't have is a piece of FTP software . . . . you'll need to download one of these in order to connect. DON'T use Internet Explorer.

Just download BP FTP or something. It'll ask you, when you open it, for 4 things: an FTP address, a port, a username, and a password. These are provided in the descriptions of each FTP server here (http://www.rpgamers.net/Games/Music.cfm).

Hello. Hammering is connecting to a server over and over too quickly. For example, if you connect to a server every 15 seconds, you'd be hammering it. We recommend you set your reconnection rate to atleast 60 seconds between retries. It should be someplace in your FTP client's options.

*notes that this has nothing to do with FTPs*

He Leo, If you can get onto a server with the Black Mages album, it has an awsome version of the FFVI Boss Battle music ((and the normal music)) You won't be dissapointed. :D

*stops going off topic* Sorry. . .

another question let's say you checked again after 60 mins, even tho u were 90 min banned, then it said Stop Hammering and said 90 min banned again....would that add on more time?

I have the FF6 boss theme, somewhere in that huge FF folder ~_~; Hell, I probably have multiple instances of it...If that's the only track you need, I can send it over AIM too...

Hey people ! The Black mages are good with guitar, but in my opinion, the "FFVI Boss Theme" is one of the worst tracks of the album. If you want something that ROCKS, then check SSH's interpretation (http://www.ssh.ne.jp) !!

I consider SSH to be the most talented guitarist to have ever remixed Video Games tunes (before that, I thought it was Ailsean :p )

*going to check this out* I'm not good at pin-pointing guitartist >.O; I play drums, too bad their aren't alot of game pieces with drum solos. . .that'd be fun!

I forgot wich Tracks on the Black Mages album annoyed me, oh well. I probably like Battle on the Bridge the best! ¬_¬; Makes me went to actualy play through FFV.

*spots TeMP it Up on that site* I wonder if it's better than TeMP own Remix...

:offtopic: Kinda...but again that's my fault isn't it?

Edit: WOW! That IS an awsome FF6 Boss theme!

Actually, there's a big drum solo on one of the tracks from the Sakuraba live album :spin:

On topic, I might add that FileZilla is the best FTP client ever.

Off topic I might add that I thought that Black Mages Album blowed.

I'm still pretty new to downloading off of FTP, but I was wondering where I can check to make sure "Passive Mode" is on or off? thanks for the help!

If you're using Bulletproof FTP, then from the main program window, click the Options icon (the hammer and screwdriver), then click on the Firewall tab. Toggle passive mode on or off with that bottom left checkbox. Some servers only work with it on, and some work only with it off. *shrug*

Just a note, FileZilla Client has the option to store Passive or Active mode in the bookamark. Thus you don't need to change the mode depending on the mirror you use, as Filezilla takes it from the bookmark.

So do CuteFTP and FlashFXP too... :P

And that's so cool :) I used to use Bulletproof quite a while back, don't remember exactly why I changed from it, but I sure as hell haven't missed it. Hooray for Passive mode storers :w00t:
