Tracker Status is no longer updated

Err, there seems to be a problem with the tracker right now... I was checking the available torrents, and saw only four of them listed ! (ê_é) When you set the option to display all torrents, including dead ones, you see everything as it should be... Except we have only 4 torrents tagged as "active", and the rest is seemingly dead.

Weird thing is, if I go to the latest request I filled (Kingdom Hearts 2 OST), I can still download the .torrent file ; didn't try to actually download the MP3s, though (since I'm the seeder :p ).

Any clue on how to fix this ? :search:

Well, I for one can't access the tracker at all, I don't know if it's the same for everyone. Locke moved the dns and lintbox refuses it or something like that, as a result magicite.net services are only partially working.

Sooo, don't know what to tell you, other than be patient. :D

On my end I still can't resolve the tracker url. But I'm told that some people can already, so it's getting better I guess.

Status updated. Everything looks to be working fine right now.

This was because of the dns issue. Torrent reports as dead if there are no seeds in a given time, and thus becomes invisible until someone activates it again. Because the tracker url wouldn't resolve for most of the people, most people couldn't seed their torrents either. And as a result most of the torrents were dead and invisible.

About how you could download the torrent... I guess you were one of the few who didn't suffer much from the dns switch.

Most of the magicite.net urls were inaccessible for me past two days. Even had to connect to irc.magicite.net via direct ip. Now everything seems fine.

Report back if you still encounter problems.

Well, after some debugging at the irc channel, it seems that it has been fixed for good. Let's hope say anyway. ;)

Well, apparently it has been working for about 24 hours now without a hitch, so status changed again. :D
