I thought Id start this one because I had strange one 2 weeks ago.
I dreamt I was in this big house with paintings of horses on the walls.I dont know whose house it was and it wasnt in my dream city I talked about in the other board.
There were servents around and one of them told me to get to work in the basement hauling wood for senoras fireplace.I guess I was a servent in a hacienda.I started to follow this stairway down when I heard this howling.I went to the window and there was a storm coming. A big one lightning,thunder the works.Bursting in through the front door was I guess the senora of the house with her beutiful daughter.They told me to close all the windows.
The howling got louder and the sky very dark.A maid from upstairs said its a tornado run to the basement.I could hear the house creaking from the wind and heard the windows break.
I ran to the basement and heard all this noise coming from the upstairs.Then it was over.I went upstairs and half the house was gone.The daughter asked me if I was ok and to help her pick up her paintings.Then I woke.

In the waking world,a few days later I was cleanig the house and was looking out the window and could see this storm coming from the west.Beutiful the way the sun goes on the clouds here.It was moving fast in my direction.I stayed by the window to see the lightning show and the wind picked up really bad knocking things off my shelfs.I closed the windows.Then it started to pour.Just another summer storm I thought.
The wind picked up unlike I ever experienced before.Water was being forced through the sides of the double storm windows.And the howling of the wind just like in my dream.Then the house started to creak.I panicked.Grabbed the only other living thing in this house wich was a house plant and started for the basement.Lightning struck a pole in the back yard and knocked out the power so there was darkness.I left the plant there and all this water was coming through the windows and cracks under the doors,so I got the mop and tried my best to get some of it.
More wind and the house started to whistle so loud that even if you scream the noise would drown it out,and I heard wood breaking in the back yard.This is it I thought.Just like the dream.
I stood by the window thinking I want to see this tornado that comes for me.
I am ready for death,better this way than to die like a dog on the streets.
This house is not sturdy even the base ment would be destroyed.
All I could see out the window was white clouds and rain pounding against the window.Then the whistleing and creaking started to stop.Rain began fall like normal.5 minutes later sunny skies.The storm went towards the lake.
It was the worst storm around here in a long time.Trees broken every where.The backyard wood fence was scattered.All the neigbors were out at work.I think I was the only one around in the neighboorhood.I was without power for a day.The trucks came and replaced the pole.
Still it was a beutiful storm.

...i've been dreaming about traveling a lot lately, but i can only remember one cuz it's already been a few days...

i had a dream that they wouldn't let me take my poptarts on the plane because i didn't have an extra pair of tickets for them... so being the clever individual that i am... i hid them in my bag! the end.

I dream so rarely that this will be like a log. Im lucky if I dream once a month let alone remeber them.

Apparently every person dreams every time they sleep, even though we remember very few of them. Although admitedly the ones we remember we sometimes forget soon after we move.

Pretty weird concept to grasp that we have a whole world of stories going on that we are completely unaware of. :spin:

i had a dream last night where i put this sacred stone artifact to open the secret door to this ancient cavern... then i started wondering how the thing closed because it stayed open even after i took the stone out...
so after a little searching, i uncovered this secret compartment...

apparently you use little white plastic buttons to close it.

Last night . . .

Last night I dreamed that me and a couple of friends were on an espionage mission. We were in an abandoned factory of some sort - it wasn't empty of machinery, just of people.

There was a bomb in there, and I had to disable it. Me and my sidekick searched for the longest time . . . and after finding and hitting a deactivation button, the truth was revealed - the bomb wasn't on, we had just started it!

Eventually we found the bomb, and I managed to disable it - I guessed the deactivation code on my first try, then threw it into the bushes outside. No explosion!

The bad guy tried to get us, but the cops got there, and everything was okay. Mission complete!

I had good weird dreams last night.

In the first one, a short sequence, my house was collapsing. :amazed: My parents were there too ; I don't know, suddenly I noticed some crack or heard a noise, and I knew the house was collapsing ! I saw the shape of beams appear through the ceiling, all was shaking and a rumbling noise came... I don't think I went to the end of that dream ; but somehow I don't think anybody died.

The second dream was... interesting. I was in front of a building's entrance (it was part of a block of buildings). The frontispiece was impressive, a high rectangular frontage looking like old bronze with carved motives, and a smaller (wooden ?) rectangle in the lower corner in which the entrance door was. I think the name of the building was written in big letters on the frontage, as part of the motives ; it was something like "The House of Accounts" (but in French), I don't remember... Anyway, the place was closed. Two guys in suit were sitting on a bench in front of the building, waiting for it to open, but I noticed (knew) it was closed for the day - because it was the Assumption (see my other post a couple of days ago :D ) ! Anyway, later in that dream I was inside that building, which appeared to be a fine restaurant no matter the name outside. I was waiting for a table to be free, maybe ; I remember I was looking at all kinds of very good-looking, delicious dishes ! :hungry: Salty or sweet, hors-d'oeuvres or desserts, everything felt particularly tasteful and sophisticated. I really wanted to taste all of it ! :) But the dream ended before I had a chance... :cry:

Finaly I started to have a dream last night. It was about the islands in the mediteranean that contain treasure of some sorts and some of the treasure had inscriptions that hold the map to atlantis or some lost kingdom. Most of the Islands I went to were long plundered exept for one and the treasure was a small gold tablet and I was about to read the inscription when I woke up.
I hate that!!! Then I tried to go back to sleep to dream the same dream again but nothing. I was so close I even had the gold tablet in my hands seeing the sun glint off it bringing it close to my face to read and bam. :furious:
I wish there was a pill to stop dreams.I really could do without them.


I think I did make out one tiny heiroglyph off the tablet and I think it was cart,something with a wheel.

i had a dream that i found this puppy dog... so i brought him inside.
...then he peed on my bed (the bastard), so i used him as a rag and wiped it up with his fur.

then, some dream time passed... not real time, just pretend time (enough time for the dog to be cleaned of his pee, that is)... and i went to pet him, but he was all pissed off at me for wiping up his pee with him. so i gave him a hug, and he was my friend again. =)

but it turns out he wasn't really a puppy dog at all! =o
he was really a robot made of nanotechnological components that could change into anything you want!

he turned into a bug somehow, but we changed him back to a puppy cuz puppies are more socially acceptable than bugs.

that is all!

i dreamt last night that i found neo, and he had recently been killed or operated on or something (it seemed like a hospital room setting minus the medical equipment)... then i realized that i was in the matrix, so i tried to turn the TV on with my mind (by waving my hand, actually, but i suppose the principle's still the same). but instead of turning it on, neo popped up on the screen in 3D matrix code to tell me stuff! o.o

it kinda felt like when you hold a magnet to your TV, if you've ever done that.

:) I took a semester of German when I was in college, and while I never took to the language (mainly due to an avoidance of speaking any language in front of strangers ;)), my roommate used to say I spoke German in my sleep. Go figure. :rofl:

...i had a dream last night that this girl stole my car. she showed everyone that her keys worked in my car. then i said something derrogatory to her, and everybody laughed... so she got pissed off, and i walked away thinking nothing of it.

i remember thinking i should have done something, but there was really nothing i could have done. she had my keys, after all. but it turns out... when i was looking for my car, using the remote entry thingy to see if any of the cars i could see would flash when i hit the button, the remote worked with every single car on the road! =o

so then... i realized it was a dream and stopped looking.

also, i dreamt that i was buying an RC plane from walmart for some reason or another... at one point, i had to get something from the top shelf, and when i jumped off, i fell for about 4 or 5 seconds before i hit the ground... (which happens to be a long time for jumping off a set of shelves.) i remember thinking "oh shit, this is going to hurt," but it ended up feeling just like a normal shelf jump! =o

Ever had a dream of planets colliding? I did and always do haha. Well a few days ago had a dream that Earth was being orbited by Mars and the Moon at the same time. Something had gone wrong with Mars' orbit and it had began to orbit earth. However becasue of mars' size relative to earth (as a professor at nasa was telling me) the orbit had become irregular and mars would collide with earth in less than an hour!!!

So I had to use a specially built US/NASA laser to destroy Mars. Problem is the laser had been stole by some nutter who wanted it for himself and I tried to persuade him (that earth would be destroyed) but he failed to give it back. So I was forced to live out the first few minutes of the total impact, which consisted of Mars grinding through part of the earth, creating a massive crater in a line, but worse was to come.

The only solution was to go back in time to stop the guy stealing it in the first place, so off i went through the time portal built also by US/NASA. I then went back to our time, lasered mars and woke up immediately after it had been blown to atoms:):) PS The moon had also changed orbit quite a bit becasue of Mars' gravitational pull...my dream left few details haha which i found very cool

I often wonder what the Earth would be without the Moon... I mean, it's the moon which makes the tide, so it has an influence on the sea level - and maybe on other elements we haven't really thought about yet ?

The moon pulls the sea towards itself, and reflects sunlight, I don't think it does much else.
Well aside from being how we tell the day of the month, inspiring poetry, and the like...

Last night I dreamed I was being chased by a HUGE (like two foot long) Bee down railroad tracks, Then a bunch of people started singing about bees... and something about "fubu" Whatever that is.
Oh and there was a vampire in it.
What the hell does THAT mean?

I hold firm that one of the worst things is not having any form of dream at all, I don't mean not remember it, I mean there ISN'T one to remember. Because when I simply forget a dream, I still wake up refreshed. No, when THIS happened I felt my eyes close then snap open and 8 hours had passed! But I was still dead tired! Weird!

Had a dream the other night that a really huge green cicada larva was walking up my curtain to shed its skin and grow wings.
When I tryed to pry it from the curtain the cicada would lash out its legs and cut my hand. After a while it got to the top of the curtain where I could'nt reach it.
I left the house fearing the full grown flying cicada that would emerge from the shell.

I had a dream where my car was stolen while I was sitting inside it. For some reason I kept asking the carjacker to give me back my car, although I could have hit him anytime. He wouldn't give it back though, so we ended up going to a cafe together (No idea why I would eat with him though :confused:) and I kept on bugging him. Finally I lost my temper and started pounding him on the head until my arms grew tired :evilgrin:

But he didn't die! In fact he seemed fine O_O That's when I woke up. I didn't get my car back :bawl:

I had a freaky dream of which I can't remember much but it seems totally unrelated to the previous day's events I think.

The previous night I had read some hieroglyphs and some of Jane Austen's "Emma" (only the 1st 3 pages then I fell asleep :p).

So why did I dream that I was sort of in a large coal mine lugging a large rock behind me with a few other people around. Then there's some stuff I can't remember. At some point there was a little dog who got his feet burnt off which I found somewhat weird and annoying though not particularly shocking. Then there was a sort of McDonalds type place and a guy (can't remember who or if I even knew him) and a motorbike. Seems we were running away from a lady who I think owned or ran the mine torture thing (I think the restaurant was above the mine) and I think she sort of just gave up and wandered off after we drove a bit down the street on the bike.
Then there was something with a swimming pool where she was chasing us round there too, but it was one of those totally cool ones with loads of flumes and stuff.

A mine signifies bringing up resorces from the unconsious mind (Go figure huh?)
something heavy like your rock means you seek to become more practical and down to earth, or may indicate some responsibility. (Knowing you I would guess the latter...)
Being alone or with few people signifiys some issue with independance, or may indicate that you fell self sufficient.
Amputation indicates a loss of something important. (Oh, like paying an arm and a leg!)
A Resuraunt is a want for a relationship or something of the sort.
Escaping signifies a need for freedom, or to move beyond some difficulty. Could also mean your attempting to dodge some responsibility. (Sounds like Yuffie...)
A pool represents a need to understand inner feelings. I think the water flumes would mearly be because your insane.

So... Here's what I can put together haphazardly...
You have some type of responsibility or duty you have deep down that you want to tackle alone, though you feel it has too high a price, and you are trying to get out of it. From other parts of the dream I would gather it has something to do with a relationship-type thing, and you must confront you feelings about it.

But thats just what I got out of it.
Sorry for going all weird on that.

Impressive Astro, I just thought it was a load of random thoughts that meant nothing. :rofl:

Thought of what could have made me think of the flumes though (other than insanity). I've recently done an oil painting as part of my art course of some twisting tube like things (don't actually have a clue what they're meant to be), but they sort of resemble flumes. :rofl:

My top worry at the moment is University/drama school, panics about will I get in, how will I pay for it and will I succeed once I leave. :p

I wish I had a cheat guide like with a game so I could guarantee my future in some aspects, or at least a save and load button. :D

All this week Ive been having dreams about my ex-girlfreind.
I cant take them anymore. It makes me feel depressed for the rest of the day.
As of now I will wake up at 4:00 am everyday so to bypass them REM portion of my sleep.

The bad dreams are gone.
Waking up at 4:00am only worked for a few days and caused my mind to have rem sleep earlier.
I searched all over the web and found only 2 tips for stopping bad dreams.
One was having a cup of coffee before you went to sleep. That didnt work. Made me aware in my dreams only.
Another was to sleep in a diffrent room so your mind is occupied on a new surrounding. I slept in the basement a couple of nights and the dreams stopped.

Right, this is not my dream but 'Daniel's'. He has been playing me and our cousin 'James' at chess and he could be getting obsessed. He told me he had a dream were he was a piece on the chessboard and he was putting the king in check.

Also this hasnt been confined to just dreams as the other day we got on the bus and he thought he was a 'Ruck' as when a passenger moved out of the way Dan could see the driver and he said check, as if he had put the driver in check, totally dodgy;)

Well National Youth Theatre (hereafter referred to as NYT) is the UKs largest youth acting company (ages 17-21) with over 3000 applicants each year. In February everyone gets an audition then before the end of the year finds out if they're successful.
Then there's a 2 week course in London showing the basics and seeing what you can do.
After that they can audition for any productions that the company puts on. :)

Plus it looks really great on your CV and universities love it. :)

So here's hoping for the best. ;)

This night I was dreaming about a sweet asian girl. She came from nowhere and we felt in love with eachother. She was very smart and did all the times things I havent understand. She probably had something special to do. Hmm.. it was hurting me in a way. First we build our little romance, which was very hard. Since we were both very shy. In the end she left me... and I saw that she wasnt from this world. I kissed her a last time but she was against the kiss because... I saw her feelings for a moment. They told me that it'll hurt more and more if we kiss each other this one last time. But I had to...
Then she went thru something like an dimensional portal.. I was sad, my heart was broken...

at any rate, in on-topic news... i had a weird dream last night... it happened not long after Charon was discussing DnD noobism with me. he was saying how power gamers are easily countered by a DM simply tossing in some power monsters at them.

anyway, i remember sitting there, and the dream had a DnD atmosphere to it... not necessarily a fantasy environment, but just a sort of feeling. anyway, all of a sudden, this robot walks in and shoots my friend in the chest with a missile, and i'm all like "holy shit!" then she (yes, she) shoots some knives or something at me, which i oh-so-artfully dodge. then i realize... this isn't just any kind of robot. this is the terminator from terminator 3!!! so i dart out toward the door, trying to stay as far away from femmebot 2000 as i possibly can.

i remember seeing a pretty badly torn-up T800 (eg. arnie) on the way out... i think he gave me the keys to a car outside... but once i was out, i do remember having the keys to a honda, and when i was trying to get in, i did that whole flipping-through-the-keys-to-find-the-right-one deal people always do in the movies. it wasn't too hard because the terminator girl was doing that badass, slow walk thing they always seem to do as well.

then i backed up and drove away. hoorah. =)

Well by TV I mean something like in "The Ring" where she comes out of it, or when it randomly switches itself on etc.

By mirrors I mean when things are seen in them that shouldn't be seen e.g. people, or when things come out of them like in the original "Night of the living dead".

And by beds, in the grudge this girl ran away from something scary so she jumped into bed and curled up in the covers. Then you saw her get dragged down the bed a bit and she lifted up the covers and the evil thing was there and killed her. :bawl:

Had a really strange dream last night (since this post popped back up).

I had a reset button. Really, I did. I could do whatever I want, and if something bad of consequence came up, I could hit the reset button and the bad consequence would go away. I just remember bits and pieces of the dream, though, so here's what I remember.

I was driving down the interstate back home at night. Apparently I was going somewhere secret, because I had to drive off of the interstate and break through a fence to get there. So I did that. A minute later, when I got out of the car to get to wherever it was I was going, the cops showed up. Knowing I was in trouble, I hit the reset button. The cops disappeared, though I still remained where I was (broken through the fence). I went about whatever business I was doing.

Later on, the same night, I went on a date (even my dreams taunt me). Every single time I made a mistake, I'd hit the reset button and try again. I must have pressed that reset button hundreds of times! I got the outcome I wanted, and then...

I decided to go on this stupid reality dating show for TV, but without the reset button. It was a double date type thing, so I had a date, and we were with this other woman and man. In the end, the woman I was on the date with ended up really liking the OTHER guy, as did the other woman. And that guy, of course, got the grand prize. And made me feel very inferior and I felt very bad. Made me wish I had the reset button...

Oh well. I hate Valentine's day. My dreams the night before Valentine's day are always bad...but weird...

The last 5 dreams i had everything was white. The house,the clothes people wore,bed,drawers,tv,everything looked like it was painted white. The only color was the peoples skin and hair.
Im going to deny myself rem sleep again for a few days to break the cycle. I cant sleep in other rooms anymore. Not for a while.

I seem to be dreaming a lot lately...
One recent dream was about dinosaurs, that was pretty darn cool!!

Last night I dreamt about market research...clearly it haunts me constantly.
Anyways, I was working from home for some reason and I was sort of talking a person on the phone through an adventure/mystery style game...and there was a museum with these pictures of victorians and other clue type objects...

Anyway, after realising I didn't know quite how to open a list of questions for the survey, I apologized and hung up. :D

Then I found out how to work it and then I woke up...

Looked like a good game though...

I dreamt about killer wasp/bug thingy the other day that turned into a monster and ripped your head off with its teeth...

Last night was about a plane being hijacked...My dreams dont usually involve current affairs in that way, they are usually wonderfully cunning or nice.

Apart from the time I had a dream that terrorists were infiltrating BT and were planting bombs in the phones of normal house users and when they answered the reciever they were blown away, I know i shouldnt laugh at that but it sounds so stupidly hilarious:rofl:

I had a dream...
Myself, my dad and my uncle were at the harbour someplace and we were going to go sailing out to go fishing... Bearing in mind I don't like fishing.

Anyway, when I saw the boat it was a big kickass galleon type thing instead of a little dinghy! :rofl:
It was tied with a bit of rope to one of those metal ball things you see at ports.

So we untied it and went sailing off...but we left the rope behind so when we got to another port (for some reason we didn't stop and fish) we couldn't tie the boat anywhere...
so they told me to go into town (the town being at the first port we left from) and find a bit of rope for it.
Then we all just got off the boat...having secured it in no way to go and find some rope. :rofl:
We did have a piece but it was really tiny. :p

Then for some reason we were going across these small grassy areas full of ditches and twists and climbing etc. and we stopped all of a sudden and they sent me back towards the boat so I could go find some rope. :rofl:

Now it gets weird...
They said that Dermot O'Leary would be waiting to drive me back to the 1st port in a car at the 2nd port. :rofl:

But anyway, I arrived back at the town having somehow got back without driving.
I was faced with a road about 6 lanes wide which I crossed no problem somehow and started going down the street for a shop which might sell rope.

I went to a charity kind of shop and for some reason they had a whole rack of different types of rope...but they were also really expensive and not very long still...I think one was £32 for 5metres of rope. :rofl:
But even so it was in really small black packaging.

***EDIT*** I forgot, the charity shop was run by the little old ladies from "Last of the Summer Wine". Not even a tv show I like. :p

So I left that shop and carried on!

Then I came to a shop with a fishing rod outside it and it was a fishing shop (well duh. Why is my dream about fishing so much?!).

Anyway, I went inside and had to go up some stairs to the shop, it was all pretty dark up there. Then at the top of the stairs was a T junction so I went right and turned right again and there were all these bags of pet food for sale and a small rack of pet toys to buy.

I turned around to take the left path and this guy was behind me and he was a skinhead and had all these tattoos. :rofl:

I told him I was looking for some rope and for some reason he gave me 2 hamsters to hold while he went to find some...

Then one of the hamsters bit my hand and it was all gross and bloody...so I gave the hamsters back and he put them on top of my head while he went to get something for them. :rofl:

Then he came back and put the hamsters into a top hat.

But then...and this is a weird bit...I went all crazy because the hamsters had been infected with rage... :rofl:
So I was all zombie like and I zombified the pet shop/fishing shop owner's young son and then I woke up. :rofl:

If anyone bothered to read all that, it now may explain my fear of hamsters, my subconscious urge to go fishing and my obsession with rope. :rofl:

I had a dream the other night that I moved to Edmunton and bought a Mitsubishi 3000 VR4 Twin Turbo and then raced one of my current roommates in his Mazda MX 3.. Don't know why, but it was quite the odd dream, I won't be going to Edmunton till Oct. 3rd, and he won't have his current car out there :confused:

Dreamt that a girl I knew had joined a site called KissForGeorge.com:wacky: and that on this website, guys paid to kiss girls. She had to kiss this stranger for about 1 hour and I started getting fed up and said "look the guy has had enough!"

The only thing that didn't make sense was that the guy could seemingly kiss her physically over the phone/internet

Dreamt I was a work and a 3 of the supervisors come over and they started asking me questions, like if I was on drugs when I signed up to work there and other questions along similar lines. Then they started telling me about all this black ops stuff out company was doing,

I think either they were going to kill me or recurit me, but thats when I woke up so now I'll never know.

I dreamt I had to sneak around an old house I used to visit without my ex-girlfriend or any of her family members seeing me. Unfortunately, I didn't sneak by undetected, and they caught me and I got trapped into a relationship with her once again. :cry:

I'm not sure why it was in that house, seeing as I've never even been to that house in at least 8 years. But the whole sneaking around thing, trying to get out of the house before she could get me was a pretty accurate reflection of my feelings near the end of the relationship. God, I'm glad I'm out of that one...

I don't really have long dreams...last night I dreamt that I was Yngwie Malmsteen, and I was playing Gimme, Gimme, Gimme, and suddenly I start screaming how Madonna copyed my riff for "Hung uP". Which is actually true. o.O"""
