Most of the time Azureus crashes my computer. Bringing me to a blue screen telling me that windows has shut down to protect itself from an illegal operation or something of the sort.
If anybody has any solutions to this or maybe a suggestion on what to do, it would be most appreciated.
I'm kudos97 on the torrenttracker.

Are you trying to upload stuff, or download only ?
If you don't plan on seeding, and use torrents just to download, you may as well try another client than Azureus ; BitTornado works really well for me.
What operating system you run? WinXP, 2k, or something older? How about your java version? As Azureus uses java, check if you have the latest one, which is Java JRE 1.5 I think. What version of Azureus, latest non-beta is 2.3.0.6.
Does the crash happen immediately after you start it, or after a while. Azureus is a terrible resource hog, and it's possible that it overloads your system. Depending of course your system. :p It might be irrelevant, but it wouldn't hurt to know if you are using router or not.
Check that for now, and report back. :) You could also browse the Azureus Wiki (http://azureus.aelitis.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page) yourself and maybe you get lucky by finding the issue there.

Don't know anything about Azureus. All I can do is point you in the direction of the torrent program I use: http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/

XP Media Center
Azureus Version 2.3.0.6
Java Runtime Environment Version 5.0 Update 6
Upload and Download
System specs:
160 GB Hard Drive (It usually has at least 100 gigs of free space, as I use my external hard drive for storage. Music, games, ect.)
1 Gig of Ram
I've looked through the Azureus Wiki and found nothing although I didn't speed a large amount of time looking through it.
At first I figured it was Java becaue that's what Azureus uses, so I checked to see if I had the current version of Java. I did. It kept happening. Uninstalled Java and then reinstalled it. Same blue screen appears.
Sometimes it happens right when I start it up and sometimes it'll happen in the middle of the night or when I'm at work. Like in morning I'll turn it on and it'll work for the whole morning before I have to leave for work.
Lately, past two weeks, it's been working fine so I decided that I would start uploading music to the torrenttracker now that I was stable, but alas it begins crashing my comp again. I feel bad because there's people waiting to download music off me and I can't provide.
The other thing is that I'm accustomed to Azureus and all my torrents are currently being seeded from there. I would like to keep it up so people could download the music they want. I really don't want to have to upload those 8 or 9 torrents again. I will if I have to though.
If we can't find the problem I'll use another torrent program and reupload all the dead torrents that I have. Kilu, your the administrator of the TorrentTracker right? If so you could delete those dead torrents of mine and then I'll reupload them. If this is a bad idea just tell me.
Sorry for all the hassle.
As far as comp specs go, you shouldn't have trouble running Azureus. How about your connection and/or router if you use any? Some routers are known to dislike all kinds of P2P traffic. For example, D-Link dsl-g664t, Linksys befsr41v4, W-Linx MB401-S and Netgear dg834g don't like the DHT option that Azureus has, and may cause instability.
So if you have a router, you could try toggling DHT in Azureus ("options ->plugins-> distributed hash table" I think) on/off, as well as Azureus UPnP mode on/off, which is known to cause nasties on some D-Link models.

I'm not an admin in the torrent tracker, but you don't need an admin to delete your own torrents.
As far as changing clients goes, you don't have to upload the torrents again. Client to client migration is pretty easy really. Tracker doesn't care where the data comes, and if you are forced to change the client, all you have to do is queue the .torrent files in the new program and continue seeding. But let's not go there just yet. :)

I am behind a router. Long story short, the router has no brand name so forget port forwarding. But it has to be the program and not the router. I've used Bittorrent and Bittornado and they both worked fine for me. Azureus worked find on my old comp, just upgraded last month. So it has to be some conflict between my computer and the application.
BAMAToNE suggested ABC. I'm using that and its working fine. Loads up faster than Azureus too. Think I might switch permenantly if Azureus shut my comp down again. It's really starting to irritate me.
But it has to be the program and not the router.
Combination of both is more likely. If the toggling DHT and UPnP in Azureus won't have desired effect and program change is in order, I recommend either ABC or µTorrent (http://utorrent.com/).
I personally use µTorrent because of it's small size/small memory print and some categorizing functions it has.

ABC is pissing me off. Most of the time it won't seed and I have to stop the torrent, then resume and keep doing it till if finally starts seeding. After that, it'll just stop seeding. Checked upload stuff. Set to infinite and the other stuff. ARG!!
Going to try uTorrent now.
At least when Azuresu worked, it worked well.
Jesus Mother of Mercy, in the Koudelka OST page, it says I have three seeders. All of them are me. Do I have multiple connections or something. Problems after problems. God help me.
You never told me if you tried to toggle DHT and UPnP in Azureus settings. ;)
Can't say anything about ABC, never tried it myself.

Actually, I never did, I just deleted it. µtorrent is working very well. Setup was easy and the torrents are doing great, so far. I always seem to jinx myself, though. I think this is the torrent program for me. Gives losts of info and statistics; there all in plain sight. I like that.
Thx for the recommendation Kilu.

Strange about ABC. I had some seeding problems when I first started using it, but that was because of my particular setup. I run ABC on my second computer, with drives mapped to my first computer, which contains all the vgm. So basically I had to open Windows Explorer and click on all the root drive folders so that it would reconnect to them for sure. Then ABC had no problem.
To each their own as usual. Most of the clients these days have the same features, so it's usually just a usability question anyway.
I'm happy as long as people use something else than BitComet (or its spawns). I hear that they hammer trackers (sort of) and ignore .torrents private flags and other very bad behaviour. Some of the bigger trackers have banned the client too. Maybe I should suggest Locke to ban it here as well. :p
