View Full Version : The Trivia Thread of Trivial Trivia!
Hey Hey! I thought it would be neat to have a trivia thread where people can use their brains to remember useless crap that has nothing to do with anything :)
Anyways, I'll post an easy one for starters.
Category: The Simpsons
What does Ralph Wiggum say after he falls on his Chewbacca Action Figure?
(We could follow the same format as the Name That Game thread, the person who gets it right posts the next trivia) Give people 2 days to get it, if nobody gets it by then, just post the answer and try a new question.

What is Chief Wiggum's first name?
Ralph.
Or was that the kid? I'll stick to my answer, though I'm almost sure now that it's the kid and not the chief.

Are these sort of questions only mentioned in about 1 episode? It's worrying me how little I know.

It's worrying me how little I know.

But as for a question...um....damn. O.o
Ok! New topic! Lucozade! ;)
Q: What colour is the word "original" on the bottle?
You might not know but you can find out. ;)
I have no clue, I think we are going to need some sort of hint :)

Gah, you guys suck at your research! :p
At least try the lucozade website! :p
It is partially red I'll give you that. ;)
looks like white and red, although I'm looking at it with my glasses off (I left them upstairs and currently too lazy to go get them)
http://personal.inet.fi/musiikki/mika/lucozade.jpg
Still looks red to me. Unless you are asking the backround aswell, which you didn't.
Btw, I bumped into this. http://personal.inet.fi/musiikki/mika/lara.gif
Same picture as in your sig, except that it looks better and is transparent. I don't know if you want it, but use it if care :p

...i figure you're looking at the old bottle, Kilu.
maybe.
Maybe I am, but that's the only bottle I could find that actually said 'original' in it :p It's not my fault that they keep changing their design :)

Topic: Die Hard
Q: What does John McClane say during the scene in the air vent after lighting his lighter?
Hint: The answer has nothing to do with TV dinners.

2 questions at once?
Grim, no idea
Lucky, umm, I thought it was the tv dinners line.... 0_o Havent seen the film in over five years though so I could be wrong. I'd like it to be "Ippie kay ay" though. :p
oh wait....
Memory happens to work...
Something like... "That had me worried for a minute?"

i think it's better this way... so it's not as boring waiting for an answer or waiting to see if it's correct.
I suppose, but 2 will be the limit :)

*Bonks Charon*
You're wrong! You lose! You get nothing!
The TV dinner line is when he's moving around in the air duct. And your other answer is wrong to.
And sorry 'bout that Grim.
But hey, all's well that ends well. :emlaugh:

what, does it have to be word for word? Charon's is close enough, i think... unless you had something else in mind. (i checked the screenplay:)
129 INT. AIR CONDITIONING DUCT - ON MCCLANE - SAME 129
He lies exhausted and motionless in the narrow crawl space. He
awkwardly fishes out the lighter from his shirt pocket and
thumbs it ON.
The flickering GLOW shows him this ain't no place for
claustrophobics -- it's a long, long long dark and narrow
corridor full of weird shadows. The far end (if there even
if one?) is BLACK.
MCCLANE
Whew...for a moment there I was
worried.
He turns out his lighter, and starts crawling.
Charon
08-13-2004, 02:42 PM
Yup, he does specify speaking AFTER turning on the lighter, in the question. :p I was pretty close.

I swear he said "Come out to the coast. We'll get together. Have a few laughs."

WHAT THE CRAP?!
I swear he said "Come out to the coast. We'll get together. Have a few laughs."i'm guessing that's probably right... since me and Charon haven't seen it for so long...
i searched the script for that line, but it wasn't in there. i'm guessing that was an early edition of the screenplay... i know for a fact that he says it...
but go ahead and ask another question. =)

In the CGI TV series "Starship Troopers", what is Dizzy's real full name?
Mithrandir
08-14-2004, 09:31 AM
That's an easy one!
Dizzy Flores, unless there are like four names that would be it. If there are more then that proves I am no Starship troopers freak. :)

Your half right. Not good enough. Her real first name is NOT "Dizzy". That's her nickname.

Bah, in a bizarre twist of fate the film was on tonight. That is the damn line, I wrote it down. come out to the coast, we'll get together have a few laughs... wonder why it wasn't in silvers screenplay? not only that but the line I thought was there, wasn;t...at all. :(

I was looking at the oldest threads, and this one seemed like a good one to pull out of the abyss. I don't have any trivia yet, (though I probably shoud, taking this thread out and all) so someone else can put out any question http://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
