Heya,

I uploaded (and have been seeding) two torrents today, but I have not been able to connect to any peers for more than a second. I can download files just fine, but when I'm seeding, it seems no one can connect to me.

I'm using Azureus. When I do the NAT/Firewall test for port 49157 it comes up as OK! yet I still can't seed consistently. I uploaded 2.76 MB randomly, but then it disconnected me and I'm stuck back at square one.

So, does anyone have any idea? I'm sorry if I'm being too vague here.

Hmm.. All I know is when I'm opening a port I have to make sure it's open via the router and the firewall (Windows Firewall in this case). It's not the end of the world if you're listed as not "connectable." Even if a leecher can't connect to you, eventually, you will probably connect to him. It just may take a little longer. Routers are the devil. Sometimes they're really hard to whip in to shape. Good luck!

And that is an awesome nickname, btw... Sneaky Croatian, haha.

Thanks for the help (and the comment on my name http://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/wink.gif). I've fiddled around with my router a bit more, and it still just randomly connects me for a few minutes at a time now. I've done absolutely EVERYTHING I can think of, which is a fair lot. I'm not exactly new to bittorrent or networking or anything. http://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/pirate.gifI've tried with my router in DMZ, without my router, without my router AND without windows firewall on, etc.

So I guess the problem is on the leeches' side. I've uploaded 90MB so far, but I just wish it was a lot faster and less finnicky. Oh well.
