well, Hardhouse, I had the same problem some time ago, but this include the FTP server and the Bittorrent, so What I do, was open the range this way:

21 - 10000 tcp

hope this can help, Im not too good explaining this but its the best I can do ^^

I'll just copy-paste what I said on the RPGN torrent tracker pages :

I had problems with BitTorrent when I changed my home network ; always had Yellow status, no Green anymore... So I searched for info on the net and found out about this "open ports" issue. I changed my setup and now everything works fine ! Here's what I use :

- firewall (ZoneAlarm) > allow incoming and outgoing TCP ports 6881 to 6889
- NAT router > forward TCP ports 6881 to 6889

Note 1 : Some people say you can use ports 6881 to 6999, instead of 6889 ; I don't know it it helps at all.
Note 2 : My NAT router forwards these ports to MY computer explicitely (we have three PCs connected to this router) ; local IP 192.168.0.1, that is. Of course, for this I have set Windows to give a specific IP to each computer of my network, instead of giving IPs automatically (192.168.0.1 would be given to the first PC powered on in the day, in this case - which isn't always mine ^^).

Dunno if this helps... :)

This isn't really related to the NAT issue, but it's recommended not to use the default ports these days. Some trackers (not ours, Locke turned the default port blocking off I think) and maybe some clients don't accept incoming connections from defaults anymore.

I read somewhere that the recommended range is 10,000-60,000.

I don't remember what exactly lead to this though, but I think some US ISPs started capping the transfers on the default ports atleast.

I set the port 20000 for azureus and I have the same error when I do the nat/firewall test, I dont know what's the problem but I'll try to find it.

Thanx evil Baz, Pezito and Kilu for replying :)

It has been up all the time. It's something on your end I'm afraid. Have you tried different browsers yet? It shouldn't matter what browser you are using, but who knows.

If you are still unable to access the page, you could call your ISP and ask if they are having dns issues or something.
