Out of idle curiosity, is there any way we could clean out those who show up, post once or twice, and then dissappear never to return? Maybe something like saying anything under 15 post's if inactive for a month or two get's automatically deleted. Then we wouldn't have page's upon page's of people who are non-entities.

I think this has been mentioned previously. And the point was made that some visitors logon to read but post less, especially those that were here before me and bAz hit the group.

Well, there are a lot of 0 post accounts, but they are really not a problem. The database can handle them. :) It's possible to prune accounts, but there is really no point to do it, atleast not yet.

I was thinking more of something that check's whether you've been active at all in the last.... say 2 months. And also have it only affect people that have under 25 post's and delete's them if they are non-entities.

But there is no real need for that. Or are the accounts somehow bothering you? :p

Not really bothering me, it's just misleading to look at the users for the forum and see 1000 + when there's barely 50 (if even that) of us who post or are active (mind you, the ftp part of it might be bigger, I don't make use of that, but there's still hardly anybody active in the forum compared to what the user's says. No real worries about it, I just thought it should be pointed out.

If that were to happen, I'd probably would be erase from the forum list.

As you can tell, I don't post often enough, though I keep my server running.

Meh, I'm sure there's a way we could do it where people using FTP's still stay as active. Meh, kinda a moot point as I doubt it'll ever happen....
