Final Fantasy: Your Favorite

:ponder: Which Final Fantasy game is your favorite? This kind of debate seems to continually crop up on the boards, and since we have such a handy (and colorful) poll feature, I thought I'd make it again here. ;)

Is it just me, or is this forum supposed to be for actual role playing, like text based role playing games, not for console rpgs? Cause all i see is FF, and it says Role Playing at the top o.O. I mean i know it also says the video games in the description, but we've got a video games forum :P

But anyway, wise choice not putting in FF7, but even if it was there, i'd still have picked FFX, it owns.

I adore FFVIII mainly because of the storyline, the plot's so romantic. :D
FFX was good but I didn't want him to have to leave! It wasn't fair! :p

Admitedly Rinoa was kinda annoying at times but the cuteness of it all made up for that. :D
I usually get bored near the end of FF games where there's lots of boss battles and levelling up but I try and persevere anyway. ;)

I can't understand why loads of people think FFVII was the best, I didn't think it was all that great. :wonder:

What might this FFXIII be? And I'm also assuming that FFXI is not really XI, but a typo for VI. Because of the order, it comes after V. You suck Zedie :) MWAHAHA! :) I voted for 9.

Well, you do know that you can rectify this easily by making your own topic for paper & pen rpgs (or whatever you chooce to) for example. It's not limited for FF, but unfortunately it's a fact that majority of consolers consider FF to be the balls. I don't. But that's beside the point. Considering that these forums are only couple days old, you can't expect everything to have their own topic already :)

FFIV :D So classic~ Not enough people talk about it, wich makes me sad. Then again not much to talk about cause it's all there :D~. After that there is no specific order, 'cept X and X-2 hit rock bottom on my list ~_~;

i enjoyed ffx and x-2. i don't think ffx has little, if any, replay value but i enjoyed it the first time through. and ffx-2 has huge replay value with the costume/class system. but that is just me :banana: o_o

anyways my favorite ff game would have to be ffV/IX/ or X-2. ffv for it's class system and hilarious dialogue. IX simply because it is my favorite plot and i think the most indepth. and x-2 for the class system and modern twist . . . . . :popcorn:

the poll also lacks FF Tactics and Tactics Advanced....but I would have voted for for Final Fantasy 1.
I actually like alot of the older games like FF1 - FF6, once they started 7 and up, everything seems to be more graphics heavy and less story....alot more is needed than good graphics in an RPG, actually a good RPG doesn't need ANY graphics at all, which I bet Locke could vouch for. ;)

It's all Grim's fault I tell you. Both him and danath got me into the MUD world, and thus 2 years of my life are now unaccounted for. FF6 is my all-time favourite for many reasons, the characters had things I could relate to, they were cool and varied, the game itself had a good story, addictive music, and lots of items to collect :D I also enjoyed being able to level up everyone to 99 with every spell etc... I love being able to max out characters til theres nothing left to do. :D My main party was usually Locke, Mog, Celes and Terra. Celes.... :love:

I dont like the charecters in FFX.I still havent finished the game.

Hey Zedie, can you edit the poll? Probably not, I'm assuming you would have done that already. Maybe Locke can?
:wonder: I either can't or can't find the option - and seeing how I already re-made it, there's no point in Locke editing this one, though it'd be nice information for future errors. :emlaugh:

And on a related note Locke, right now the poll option limit is 10. Can you raise it and if yes, do you think it would be necessary and not too much trouble?
:D If this limit can be raised, I agree that it could be handy - I couldn't include as many of the FF games as I wanted. And hopefully, no one would abuse it. :bouncy:

On the admin account, I can not only edit the poll question, but also the answers available, and the # of votes each has recieved.. ;) As for thread titles, indeed that is one of options that can be edited. Its under the menu "Thread tools" for me, you select "Edit thread" to change the title/icon. It appears to be a moderator/admin only thing, though.
