Are there any games on the SNES like harvest moon? Start a life, raise a family, stuff like that

To the best of my knowledge, there really aren't any games that are similar to Harvest Moon. Even though I think there should be. :p

If there are more similar games for older consoles, they are most likely japanese only. I would be willing to bet that there are other 'life' games, but lacking the japanese skills and stuff makes it hard to say for sure.

I'm sure there's at least 2 other games, I just can't think of the name of them. Maybe I'll yell at Lance until I get the names from him, he'd probly remember.

The only game that I can think of is Wonder Project J... it's not quite like harvest moon, but you get to teach a robot companion all kinds of things... it may be like what you're looking for.
