Here's the rundown: System apps are on the left. That thing that says 'Apparently this is supp..." says 'Apparently this is supposed to be here.' I don't knowwhat'll happen if I get rid of it :D .

Below, around the FFVII:AC symbol, are artistic tools I use for music and pictures.

Bottom right corner is for various tools. GospeLink is an archive of various transcripts of religious books.

Top right is a few of my favorite emulators.

On the taskbar, you'll see 'Final Fantasy' . . . that's a link to the Final fantasy folder on my D drive; it opens as a menu. When I was 15, I made a 'Final Fantasy' folder, with respective gamesinside it, to house the FF games and their respective documents. over the years, it's grown to be about 1.5 GB, and now houses many other things . . . a fewPSFs, MP3s, pictures, etc . . . it's like a 'my documents' folder.

A funny trick to do to you would be to click "Arrange by > Name"... ^^

I don't like my desktop to be clustered by icons either. Actually, I'm such a maniac that I don't allow a single icon on my desktop when I can avoid it ! And WinXP made it easy... so... My desktop is basically my wallpaper, that's it. :) Here's my current one :

It's a photo I took myself in the Aquarium of the Porte Dorée (Golden Gate) in Paris ; those are common piranhas, as they hold a special exposition about all species of piranhas there. Due to the very low luminosity of the place (fishes wouldn't like too much light) it was hard to take good pictures ! The pose time was long and the fishes moved a lot... So this pic is about my most successful attempt, most others were blurred. (-_-) By the way, did you know that there exist herbivore piranhas ? They eat no meat and they're huge (something like 50 x 30 cm and 25 Kg) !

It's the official wallpaper for Two Brothers, a film by Jean-Jacques Annaud depicting the life of two young tigers, brothers who are soon separated and live a totally different life... I haven't seen the movie myself, but even before it was out I loved the poster. ^^

I don't see any reason put program shortcuts in folders. That would destroy the whole shortcut idea, because I'd have to open a folder before I would open the program.

Hehe... 'Course it's a woman ! They're not completely flat in that place either, you know. :3 But Shirow does draw girls with narrow hips most of the time ; it's a pity 'cause they look less womanly that way, and the addition of huge breasts doesn't make them much more feminine.

I used to love Shirow as a mangaka (Appleseed and Ghost In the Shell anyone ? :p ), but his countless sexy-glossy-jelly-gals posters got me tired for a while now. He's too much on the erotic side nowadays, and not much on the artistic side anymore.

With the sunset it's kinda blurry, but you can make out tall pole-like things. And between them, it kind of looks like there are wires streched, though that could just be the clouds.

And by closer, I mean in the shot, the gun-ish thing (I hesitate to call it a gun, because it seems to have a wire haging out the bottom) is slung across her back, with her hat and rolled up thingy seperating it from the back of her head.
NOW... also on her back under the hat, it what looks to be a hilt, it's metal with pale wood rivited to it. Then look between her right elbow (the one holding the scope) and her stomach, and you can see the bottom of a scabbard.

As for the sword, by the shape of what part of the scabbard can be seen, I think it's a falcatta-type blade.

Windows visual styles are a silly silly thing that I don't need. :D The first thing I do when I install fresh is turn of the themes. They are just ugly. I did try some stuff with WindowBlinds, and some of those free ones that require the hacked style thing to be applied, but as with so many things, they are just things that are useless to me. :)

Actually, I agree that most themes are stupid looking, but I like the one I've got now. It's smaller than any of the Windows default ones, and I'm pretty sure it uses less resources than the defaults, too. Trillian boxes close more quickly, etc. (Not less resources than no theme, though, of course.)
