SNES, 1/2 NES, GBC, GBA, Vectrex, Megadrive, Megadrive II, Master System, 1/2 PS2, PSX. Also, C-64, Commodore Amiga A500, and a personal computer.
And loads of games.

Ive found 2 of my consoles in the trash of this big apatment complex I use to live in.It was a dreamcast and a nes. They where broken of course but were easily repaired.I also bought a broken 30001-R PS2 for $5.00,broken sega cdx for $8.00,and a broken x-box for $12.00 on E-BAY.Ive fixed the ps2 and sega cdx but not the x-box.It resists my repair efforts.I think it was built with parts that can easily be destroyed.Like a older Ford car.
Unless a console has been droped from a building or submerged they can easily be poped open and repaired.Or used for parts.
My dreamcast has a oil stain on the body and I am looking for a clear blue replacement cover.

I would explain how I got my other consoles and handhelds wich are amuzing stories of gambaling, trading and theft, but I would be here typing for a while and no one really reads my posts any way. Langweilig

I forgot I got my game cube for my birthday.A platinum one.I never play it thats why I forgot. The last game I played was the new zelda but declared it a childrens game and lost interest.

NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Game Boy (ooooriginal - no freaking color :P ), PSX, Atari Lynx, Sega Saturn... I think that's it. I have a Game Boy Player for the GCN, but I don't know if that counts as a GBA.

½ NES, PSX, ½ PS2, N64, Gamecube. Not that much when you think about it.

SNES (Had to sell it on Ebay, sniff!), PSX (modded), PS2 (modded), GameBoy Color, Gameboy Advance SP. Some games, mainly CDR's and DVDR's... err... yeah.

Well firstly don't need psx if you have ps2 (unles you are attempting to play Metal gear: special missions)

Don't need NES, Master System, Sega Megadrive, N64, Game Gear, SNES, Gameboy of any sort or Atari 'cause the emulators are so good and emulators are superior in almost every way usualy apart from music accuracy.

And btw Kega Fusion beta d is out, from Kega to Fusion and man is this emulator the best for megadrive emulation and the large majority of the others it emulates:):):) coool I am so glad Steve Snake carried on:):):)

Its always good to have both if you have younger sisters who can't handle systems with care :p They use my PSX. :)

what do you mean by 1/2 NES?

As we were kids back then, our parent bought it to us. And our sister, but she has given up her share of the NES :p
PS2 however, is half mine, half Jaris, because we both payed half of it.

what do you mean by 1/2 NES?

It was a christmas present a long time ago, for me and my brother. And for the PS2 we splitted the cost.

It's not about playing the games, it's about owning the stuff. My Vectrex appears to be broken, so I have a pikachù sitting on it.

And for anyone who is still in the dark, we are brothers.

oh, i see... my brothers and i all call the systems we have our own, so i suppose that would imply that we have 3 NES's... and 6 N64's... >.>

i have no idea how we ended up with 2 of those. the other one just kinda popped up out of nowhere. i think my youngest brother stole it, probably. he's a bastard.

Heh . . . be funny of someone here selected 'none' . . . that would be weird. Wouldn't make much sense . . .

We have a couple SNESes . . . seems they're a dime a dozen nowadays.

I notice the old Sega sustems aren't on there . . . doesn't Sonic count for something? :D

:D Well, as many people as I've heard of that had PS2s that crashed, I think I'll keep my PSX, thank you very much. And I disagree with your emulation opinion - I prefer to play most games on the console they were designed for, or at least officially released on. I'm not sure I agree at all that every game on the systems you listed is always better emulated than on console. :p Whatever the case, if my console ain't broke, I ain't unhooking it... until I run out of space, that is. ;)

Game Boy (ooooriginal - no freaking color :P ) Same here, trying to keep it as long as I can along with my original Xbox controller. Doesn't look good though since tape is needed to hold batteries in game boy. ... :(

Currently have in house - XBox, GameCube, PSX, DreamCast, Genesis, N64, SNES, NES, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy, and PC.

Looking forward to getting - PS2, Nintendo DS, PSP, Phantom, and next generation consoles from sony, nintendo, and microsoft.

I recently got my old CD-i down from the attic in a moment of randomness. :D
I'd forgotten how basic some of the games were, lots of cartoony characters. :p
Needless to say I got addicted to lemmings again though. :)

Other than that I have an N64 which I've just cleaned for about the 1st time in 4 years so it doesn't restart at random now! :D
I have a big old chunky grey gameboy I haven't played in yonks and a PS2 with lots of RPGs. :p

I have an SNES emulator, does that count?

I wish this would have been a public vote so I could see what people voted for.

I have a PS2 and a ton of ROMS/Emulators. I need no more than that except the PS3 in the future.

Here we go:

Nintendo Entertainment System
Nintendo Game Boy
Nintendo Game Boy Color
Super Nintendo
Nintendo Virtual Boy
Nintendo 64
Nintendo DS
Sony Playstation
Sony Playstation 2
Sony PSP
Sega Game Gear (out of order)
Sega Dreamcast

I think that's it. I'm hoping to get a working Game Gear and an Atari 2600 in the near future.
And thanks to Sakaguchi's Mistwalker, I'm definitely getting an Xbox 360.

i know im getting ahead of myself, but i cant wait to purchase the PS3, it sounds real good, just imagine the detail on final fantasy's on a PS3, it would be like real life, if you think FFX has good graphics just wait for PS3 graphics.

pikatsu

I'm waiting for the PS4. Bound to have snappier graphics than PS3.

Actually, I just put out a loan application for 300€. Should be enough to get me a new import PSP and a game... Though, most games seem to be sports and racing, which aren't my cup of tea... Well, Metal Gear Acid should be fun, especially since it has more of a strategic element than before.

I forgot to mention that I have SMS also. The first console I got. I think I was something like 7 or 8 years old then. It has been broken for years but I have saved it. I just can't throw it away because of those great moments we've experienced together.

W00t! been a bit since I posted.

Lessee, My consoles:

Atari ST 520 (Technically a computer... but MAN are there alot of titles for it. Magnetic Scrolls' "The Pawn" and "Guild of Thieves" were some of the first roleplaying experiences I had...remember parser-based games??)
Atari 2600 (the fake wood veneer casing mrahahaha gotta love the '80s)
Nintendo NES (semi-functional...remember the blow-and-push maneuver?)
Nintendo Gameboy Mk.1 (currently gutted, me and the soldering iron need to have a talk with it's innards)
SNES Mk.1 (fully functional, excepting the P2 controller port... again, the soldering iron and I have some work to do)
Sega Genesis (totally functional. have 2 semi-operational units for parts scavenging)
Sega Game Gear (Fully functional. need to refinish the screen's cover, though)
Playstation (tough little bastard. we've travelled together)
Fun!! I'm so behind the times...

I want to update my list and add 2 new sytems. Turbo grafx-16 with super cd and a Turbo Duo.
I have entered this long and forgotten world of TG and it is fascinating.
I am still trying to build up a collection of Hu cards but have every CD,and Super CD game in rar. form.

I was a super young jetblue when it came out and remember only a small glance at it at a local Zayre store. Or mabey it was a Woolworth. But I remember that it was next to the SNES and that ugly kid on the package and wondering what the hell was it.
And I remeber finches,so it must have been a Woolworth. There's was the only department store that still had a pet section. I loved playing with the mice and hamsters. The gerbils would scratch the hell out of my hand.
Or mabey it was a Goldblats? Or Montgomery Wards?
There are so few department store's nowadays. At least the ones that were here a hundred years ago. I blame the $1 dollar store's. And walmart.

Playstation 2

Nintendo 64
Chunky old grey game boy
Nintendo DS (still shiny and new :D)

And this weird plug and play tv game thing someone bought me...supposedly has 72000 games on it...I flicked through a few and discovered it has about 7 games and then repeats itself by having things like different Mario levels (same game, different levels). Needless to say I got bored of it and it's in the attic. :)

I think that's it other than an SNES and GBA emulator. :p

I will update my list to add a Philips cd-i 490 console. Its in pristine condition both outside and in. A very well crafted machine. I got some of the games last month from a mass torrent and was surprised to learn that the cd-i plays back ups or copies with no problem. I know some of the games are rubbish but some of them are good and interesting. The cd-i can do more and im still exploring it. I think it can play vcd's and can be used as a kareoke player http://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I don't think I've ever paid for a console completely, always partially or not at all.

Why is a pc not one of the options to vote upon? PCs are one of the best gaming conosoles around and you can't say they are to broad a tool to be considered a console because you can buy PCs specificly designed to play games.:tophat: Sure they do other things but you can even use a PSP to connect to the internet.

Used to own an NES - well, technically I guess I still do, only my aunt has been "borrowing" it at her house for the last, oh, 15 years or so. :p I never had the SNES, just played on friends' systems. Used to have N64 but sold it off last year. Currently, just have NGC & PS2. Oh, and I *think* I might still have an old Sega lying around in a dusty box somewhere in storage, but don't hold me to it.
Hmm, and in a past life we also had a couple of Atari 2600's. http://www.rpgn.lintbox.net/forums/images/smilies/biglaugh.gif

Gameboy (one of the old and chunky grey ones =))
Game Gear
Playstation
Saturn
Dreamcast
Mega Drive / Genesis

Since my PS2 broke down about a year ago, my most up-to-date console is my Dreamcast... o.O Living in Britain meant that I missed out on a lot of nice RPGs that made it to the US but not here, though, so I've spent the last year and a bit going through the PSX's back catalogue.
