X-Box 360

Has anybody seen this yet? Have you played X-Box before? Do you think this will open up new gaming systems? And what all do you know about X-Box 360? Hmm, I saw the TRL Thing on it and it looks pretty cool! What do you guys think?

I think it's brilliant, so long as it will run old X-Box games too.
If not, it's one of the worst ideas on the planet.
(Being that it's microsoft, I have a nasty suspicion that it won't.)

When XBox has a game that I want to play that I can't also get on PS, then I'll think about getting one. At this time, I'm wanting a GC before an XBox. Halo is nifty, but FPS get real old, real quick for me [unless we are talking Perfect Dark, then I'm in for all day. Nothing like getting that Quad Kill medal!]

The local paper had a front page article about the new XBox. Had the wireless controller with the power shut-off on it. That was neat. But if they don't go backwards compatible, I think it will really hurt them. What would be the point of buying most XBox games till then? Especially thinking about replay value. Why get a game for a system that is out-of-date? That's what I like about PS2, I can pull my copy of [i]Vagrant Story out whenever I want, without worrying about where I'm going to hook up another system.

But that's all just my two cents.

although i think the new X-Box will be awsome, i dont think it will compare to the PS3, ive just read an article on the PS3 and it looks to good to be worse than the X-Box360.

PS3 also has wireless controllers and at long last a PS console can have more than 2 controlers, the PS3 can handle 7 yes thats 7, and the controllers look awsome.

Who the hell would want to sit around with seven people?
You know one won't have showered, and I don't like being near that many people, especially if they're my friends, I trust them less than strangers.

well it would be good for having competitions on games and stuff, it would save swapping pads around, and havng seven+ friends around means one reason.......PARTY WITH BEER & GIRLS AFTERWARDS
