Well, I was recommended a new client (thanks Zeguma:)), Filezilla, and I have a few questions about it.

Does filezilla have an option to not multiple connect and stay that way? Because the option under queue always reverts to multiple connections after you close and reopen the window.
I am still able to access the files in the FTP server while downloading (e.g. view and add to queue I did not try browsing for fear of opening another connection). Isn't this multiple connecting?
Is there an option to set a timeout? For those times when I can't be watching a download window at all times, and I need it to disconnect from a server by itself after it finishes downloading. After all, we don't want to leave useless connections on a server do we :p
I think that's all for now. Thanks in advance to whoever responds :D

Heya. Filezilla is definitely my favorite. Nice choice. :)

1. Go to Edit -> Settings -> File Transfer Settings and uncheck the second box (Use multiple connections to transfer files)
I think it's a major mistake by the developer to have that on by default.
2. If you have already viewed a directory before starting the actual download, you can still browse to it and look at the contents because the directory is cached. However, trying to view a folder you've not opened before may start a new connection unless you follow my step one. (Directory cache is enabled by default in Filezilla.)
3. Most of the time the server you're connected to will automatically kick you after a certain time. (Mine is 90 seconds I think.) However, if you want to make sure you disconnect and stay disconnected, go to the Settings and look at the first page (Connection). Uncheck the "Enable the Keep Alive system."

Ok, thanks! :)
Okay, I have another question (sorry :p).
Is the the retry setting on the connections tab also the retry settings for retrying to access a server (Like if it's full)?

Yep. You can tell it to try a million times if you want, but make sure it's set to wait at least 60 seconds.
