What VGM in your opinion does'nt get enough exposure?

For me, the Serpent Trench from FF6 is such a great song. It has that something that makes 16-bit music so great. It's repetivitve without being boring, which is something modern VGM can't afford to replicate. It's also one of those songs that is so suited to the scene you couldn't imagine it anywhere else in the game.

Post your favourite underrated song here to let the people know what they're missing!

I don't know about any specific song, but I have this feeling that Secret of Evermore soundtrack is not very widely liked. I like it a lot.

the most underrated VGM i can think of is the theme to skate or die 2. when i went to Locke's house, i asked him to play it... and he did not have it!!!

Yup, SoE is a game which was mostly build over the SoM engine, but instead of making a carboncopy of the game mechanics, it has couple of interesting ideas/features/differencies and slightly tongue-in-cheek storyline :D And good score by Jeremy Soule.

And what version of Skate or Die 2 you mean. Different machines have probably slightly different musics.

I think Perfect Dark has a pretty undderated score. I love it.

The game was good as well. If you like that kind of humour of course :) I know most think of it as a cheap copy of Mana, but I think it's more than that :D

What about Arcturus, then ? That's a Korean PC RPG, with music by soundTeMP, the very team that has composed the Ragnarok Online OST.

Arcturus has a great and suprising soundtrack, but has been completely ignored by the community. Is that because of the blinding success of RO, or the rarity of the album ? :wonder:

IMHO, the music in Tie Fighter, especially with decent wavetable soundcard.

Hehe, enjoy :D At least if you make it available on your server, the soundtrack will eventually become a bit less rare ;)
