Recently I have had to format my hard drive, and although I did back up my VGM the files don't seem to be useable for some unkown reason. This is of course effectivly the end of my FTP days. I may set up another server sometime in the future, but I may have to start my libary from scratch.

Thanks to all who have helped me and to all of you who have downloaded music off my server.

When you say "can't", do you mean there's an error with the server or are you just busy?

I've changed some settings in the passive mode IP and taken off some settings on my firewall. A bit of a shot in the dark but it should work. (fingers crossed)

I just got in but couldn't list the upload directory. I tried to disconnect and reconnect with passive but now the server doesn't answer at all.

I'm still alive! Not much happening this week, but I can't download too much until I get an external drive. Once I get that I can go crazy.

The reason I've reduced the server uptime to only the weekends is because, for starters, most of you are americans, so by the time I get home and turn on my machine you're already at work/school. Second is that I'm not always online during the week, so I thought I'd change the uptime to just the weekend.

Uuuuh, yeah. I have a confession. I forgot to put the server online until about 2 on Saturday and until 3 on Sunday. (woops). I've scheduled it in windows so it should'nt be a problem.

Still updating. Sorry about the lack in uptime, I've been very busy latley so the server hass been a bit behind. I'm looking for a job so that dedicated server shouldn't be that far away.

This might sound a little crazy, but you might want to not post on threads that are several months old. And you might not want to post the same thing twice. And you might want to check the FTP lists, first. I'm slightly less inclined to give you the soundtrack (which I am currently getting). But, if you ask nice...
