This is like, the best game ever, so I think it really deserves a thread.
Actually, it's not a new game, but still...
The history flies around you, and I thin that game deserves a movie. Whaddya think?

It already has one. Didn't you beat the game? You can replay it as a film from the 'Special' section. Seriously.
I cna't wait . . . there is supposed to be a live action movie coming out. If David Hayter grew some hair and scruff, and squinted a bit, he could even play Snake. At least the voice'd be OK for sure :D .
But David Hayter is a black man :) Snake is not. Unfortunately I might add.

Oh. For some reason I had always thought that David Hayter is a big black man. I guess I have to blame my brother on this one. Yup. I blame my brother, as usual. He told me and I never bothered to check :p
Nevertheless, your reply reeks of arrogance. It's annoying.

I assumed that it was not intentional. So all is well. Apology accepted :)

 I don't read any arrogance in there... but if I, for argument's sake, assume there were, wouldn't this be an example of the pot calling the kettle black? :p

Are you implying that I'm arrogant :p Since when? :)

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes? Which one is that? Is it a newer one that I haven't heard about? Is it the name of one of the older ones but I'm not recognizing it? What system is it for? I like watching people play MGS games, but I'm not very good at them. :( Maybe that's why I never bothered to learn their full names! :spin:

MGS: TTS is a remake of the original PS1 MGS, except it's for theGamecube, done in the style of MGS 2. That's about all there is to say. It's pretty much the same, except for a few quirks (example: in the fight with Ninja, you can shoot a statue of Mario to regain your health :D ), updates (graphics, gameplay, and many other things . . . as well as a couple new rooms), and some neat-o additions (like being able to watch the game as a film, or being able to take pictures and have them develop with ghosts in them - the first time that happened I was creeped as hell!)
In all, a worthy successor to MGS.
being able to take pictures and have them develop with ghosts in them
This was in the original already :p
I still haven't played the remake, although I was going to. No money to buy any games :( Bleh.

I'm not sure if I want to play it.
I loved everything about the origional, so when I heard that the cinematics(sp) were reimagined by a different director, some lines being changed, different music, and the news that Naomi, Nastasha, and others lost their accents, I'm not to sure I want too play it anymore.

NO!!!
You never change Snake! He's the shiznit! You can keep your Twin Snakes! I'm more then happy with Metal Gear Solid on my PS1! Graphics and gameplay alone do NOT make a great game!
Well, if it makes you feel any better, let me take the time to say that Meryl looks damn nice in the sneaking suit... :D

*Droll*
But fanservice is not enough to convince me to shove out the dough for both a Gamecube and the game. But still......*used imagination* HOT DAMN!!!!

:wonder: Well, it's a good thing for people who own a GameCube but no Playstation, I suppose, and also MG fanboys or graphics whores. I might buy it if it evers goes for cheaps. :bouncy:
I will buy it if it ever goes for cheaps. Maybe even if it doesn't.

I'm an MG fanboy, but I'm not going to buy it because I'm worried that it will spoil my image of MG. Besides, If I'm going to buy a Gamecube, I'd rather get Super Smash Melee as my first game.

Ok I have to ask: Why did they call it "twin" snakes save for Liquid, I thought that it was going to be Both MGS in one disk. this is just a Cash Cow move that will weaken the franchise, just like VR missions was a rip. they could have had a better name like Director's Cut or Reloaded or MSG:Overclocked. changing the voices and the script itself was a waste. I love the game over part when Naomi or Merrl said "SNAKE!!"

Really, I don't see what the problem is. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. I hadn't gotten the chance to play MGS, as I didn't have a Playstation when it came out . . . and now, with a Gamecube, I get to play it for myself. I think that's great.
Let's not forget the fact that Solid Snake has turned into "The One" in TTS... I don't get it . . . what did you mean?
Ok I have to ask: Why did they call it "twin" snakes save for Liquid, I thought that it was going to be Both MGS in one disk.It was never supposed to be MGS1 and 2, and yes, the "Twin Snakes" only refers to the aforementioned brothers.
I don't get it . . . what did you mean?I was referring to Snakes "new" abilities, which seem to have more in common with Keanu Reeves' Neo than Kojima's Solid Snake.
Snake always was a bit of a super soldier, but there's a big difference between something which is plausable for his character (such as taking on the three guards before Sniper Wolf shows up) and something which is borderline preposterous (missile hopping, bullet dodging, etc.).
While Hideo Kojima was busy working on MGS3, Ryuhei Kitamura seems to have worked a little too much "Matrix" into Metal Gear...
