hey who heres a fan of asian movies?? i just got my hands on this awesome one called "last life in the universe." I intern at universal so we get free movies every so often and this one was awesome..i guess the Palm Pictures people came by our office cuz they left us all these movies that they have and they all look so awesome!! i saw "Last Life.." but there are so many others that look great like this one called "Bright Future"...im gonna hafta get a copy of that one..but if u go to their site, palmpictures.com u can see all the movies they put out and they look awesome! lemme know what u guys think

bollywood movies, what a laugh. i believe they are very poor indeed, why the hell are they all dancing like tit's and every bollywood movie is a musical, maybe it is because there knowledge and technology isnt up to scratch. i find bollywood very funny indeed, more like a comedy than a serious film.

dude, i think she said "asian" movies, not "bollywood." Bollywood is Indian cimena , not Asian. Just a point of reference.

I saw "Audition" (an asian flick). Scariest movie I ever saw. Tikki-tikki-ti!

well asian movies, bollywood movies i really dont think there would be much difference seen as how most asian films probably come out of India.

no, no there are many films that come out of japan and china. that where Audition, the movie I brought up, came from. i think that's what she was talking about.

heh bollywood make as much money as hollywood man its just that they are made for a less voilenta nd sex oryented group of people, i have seen a few japeness movie but they where more USA style ....

Anyway, as far as Chinese movies go, I really enjoyed Raise the Red Lantern and Shower. Japanese movies in general seem a little bit more abstract plot-wise, but I really liked Tanpopo. (Yeah, those are all older, but they're classics!)

My local library has a pretty nice collection of Asian films. ^^

Uuugh. Audition is not something I'd willingly see again. It's the kind of thing you show to someone you don't like. XD
