Well over the 2 Cloud because Squall was just a big sook. However I would definatly go with Zidane. He was indeed the best... howver His last name is wrong... I think. I bought the Art Of FFIX book and in it His last Name is Triball or somthing like that.. I'll go look. ^o^

yup his last name is 'Triball', and i wonder why on FFX that Tidus never got a last name, infact none of the people in Spira had a last name.

I think that Cloud was way better than Squall, but there is not really that much difference between them. True, their personalities were completely different, and they looked completely different, but they both suited their games. Can you really imagine Cloud in the world of FFVIII, or Squall in FFVII? I think not.

Cloud for sure. This is maybe cause FFVII was the first game I really enjoyed playing. In FFVIII I actually liked Zell more than Squall. For some reason all of the characters in FFVIII have remained more or less in the shadows for me.

i would say Cloud is the best although i did like Zidane because he loved the chics, but i go with Cloud
