I guess that, due to my being from New York, I "get" him a little more than someone from, say, the midwest would...

I liked the early Seinfeld, but it went worse as the show got older. By the time they stopped making it I didn't watch it anymore.

i don't like a lot of comedians, for some reason. jerry seinfeld included. his jokes were always so predicatable and stale, in my opinion.

sometimes i see a comic i don't like doing stand-up on TV... and i find myself laughing out of pity.

i agree, i never really got into seinfeld. and, as we can see from the stupendouseness of curb your enthusiasm, larry david was the true genius behind that show.

My coworkers in my lab used to be Seinfeld fans (not so much now since the show doesn't have any new episodes or anything), and they constantly quote lines or scenes when they are reminded of something.

I just sit/stand there and scratch my head. I never got into the show. Just wasn't my cup of tea. I hardly laughed at any of the opening monologue thingies, although I did laugh a couple of times. But I don't watch it.

And the show was supposed to be a show about "nothing". To me, that wasn't necessarily true. It was always about "something", whether or not it made sense or was important. If it was about nothing, it'd just be a blank screen.

But even then, that's something, isn't it? Oh man, I'm making my head hurt...

well i dont have a clue who this 'Seinfeld' character is but i was watching an episode of 'Viva la Bam' (bam margera's show), and a guy on there called 'Don Vito' had Jerry Seinfeld's name tatooed on his ass for a laugh.

Well i love seinfeld hey, i know allot of people dont seem to on this forum but he is a funny bugger, and the show was/is awsome, its play on the real life events was uncannily accurate , from male masterbation habbits to george's doing everything opposite to what he would do and getting so much further in every part of life (pauses lovingly) . Im from Australia and the show was a pretty big hit here for ages, even got allot of rerun space (simpsons included) then reality TV crept in and destroyed the Tv viewing i held dear *sighs*

I don't like that man but the show is great. This Kramer guy is hilarious but that's about it. To say the truth Kramer is the only thing I like about in that serie but his so good that I nearly always watch the show.

I watched yesterday Seinfield's stund up show. It was a live show on Broadway. I'm not sure but the show was called something like "I'm telling you for the last time".
The show was pretty good allthough I didn't get those hysterious laugh bursts when watching it. He is good but not that good.

Yeah you gotta love Kramer. I watch the show and find it funny, just not laugh out loud funny. It's more of..um.. Edna Krapapples laugh off The Simpsons you know, Ha.
