I cannot never get my precious Vandal Hearts II soundtrack that I want. I love the music of this game and I want to sign up onto an FTP that has it, but I keep getting messed around with/or nobody's giving me a username and pass. Hopefully with these forums I'll finally get the soundtrack.

Now you have a tally of ten posts, you should check the 'Game Music Servers and Links' tab. I am sure that one of the ftps has it. I myself do have it but am currently having some problems that need to be fixed. If you have no luck by this time next week, PM me and I am sure I will be able to sort you out by then ;).

Thanks people, I'm a bit confused right now. I've been to one of the FTP's but they only had VH1's soundtrack. Also I know that Yume has it but Yume hasn't been on these boards for a while it seems.

Gilgamesh, why don't you try to find it on vgmusic's direct connect hub or at #gamemp3s.

I have no idea how #gamemp3's works..I downloaded some kind of "SFV" file, but I can't use it...
As for Direct Connect, I no longer have it (isn't the RIAA all over that thing now?)

haha, unlucky you dont know the meaning of the word Gilgameshhttp://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/wink.gif.
i know a guy who is so unlucky that when he recovered from a sports injury he started his first game in 2yrs and the same game he did the same injury and was out for another 3yrs.
also a guy from RPGN called Daniel, he stopped playing his favourite sport 'Snooker' cos i fluked against him every time we played, and also he has been cut off the net for a while because he needs a new bank account so as to pay his bill. Also Daniel nearly died in an elevator because it went crazy and dropped 2 floors on him...and...there was a fire in his block of flats and his house got filled with smoke and nearly chocked us off. This Daniel is very unlucky indeed.

Gilgamesh, Marona's Mirror has it. :P Just log on there. I almost always get into her mirror when I try, and on the first try, so it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot, ya?

Unluckiest?
I just lost roughly 50 Gigs of assorted files due to HD failure... :bawl:
And I was in the process of backing up... :wall:
Hopefully I can salvage something... :tophat:

Well you make me feel sorry for you. That really can be called a BAD LUCK.
I think that some people just have born to be unlucky. There's no cure for that. Just try to manage with it. You have my support.

I wish I felt sympathetic, but there's so much people losing data like this just because they didn't bother burning that I can't help sighing when I see that kind of posts. Forgive me if I'm going too far in sarcasm but I just can't imagine owning important data without doing a backup :(

I've been fairly unlucky with computer problems myself. I have my third problem with my DVD burner and I may be required to reformat again. My last reformat was last December. Right now, I'm transfering most of my personal files and MP3 archive to my older computer so my FTP server will be offline for the time being.
What's bugging me is that I still don't know why this happens. I have all this antivirus and anti-spyware software, I haven't downloaded anything on any P2P program and I stay away from most sites with spyware and pop ups and I still have these problems. I'm really getting sick of this.
Well, it's funny how you automatically would assume that the problem lies in spyware or something like that. It could very well be faulty hardware or something like that. Way back when, when I used Win98, I used to get BSODs all the friggin time. It was driving me nuts.
One day when I was adding some new card or whatever in the machine I decided to clean the memory sticks as well. And it actually fixed the whole BSOD shit issue :)

Even though I got the PC from MDG (worst service possible, usually blame stuff on P2P programs), even I have to think this is a driver related problem because I had the exact same problem last summer. After a reformat, the DVD burner turned out to be fine.
The main thing is that the DVD burning takes longer than usual and the memory buffer fluctuates way too rapidly from 100% to 0%.
I really can't see it as a hardware problem at the moment.
