To stop debate because he thinks that it should, or he has some quarrel that he thinks he cannot debate without resorting to petty tricks. Jetblue decides to post loads of pictures to make the thread hard to load. This is a free society and talking point jetblue now remove the pictures.
I will forward this to locke if you don't (i suspect locke may have some sympathy for your cause but that is clearly not the point.. what do u think u are doing that jetblue)

is daniel threatening jetblue's freedom of speech?! =o
I don't wanna hear them sad excuses!
(sorry, daniel. i'm not trying to take sides. i call them as i see them, and what i see is hypocrisy.)

haha yeah threatening his right to restrict mine lol...and everyone elses by loading pictures that are masive in size. I run a 512 K connection and it took about 30 seconds to load them that was just out of order...i do not know how u are comparing my view to his quite physical action of loading pictures ;) and i am being fair..2 of them were big and just meaningless patterns
and u still have not agreed to a game of chess. well i am abit drunk now so a game win for you would be more void than if i win u LOL a game?

well, i didn't see the pictures... but i would consider a 30 second load time insignificant to those who wish to express themselves in that particular thread.
however, if you did feel it was an unfair price to pay, then it would have been more appropriate to talk him into text-linking to them rather than telling him to remove them.
oh, and i'm all for the game of chess... just maybe once you sober up.

maybe if i did not tell u i was drunk you would have played anyway...fascinating how those things work out:)
I am not interested whether it was "more appropriate" I am suggesting he did it deliberately to make the thread hard to reach and that is just not on. Infact Jetblues final thread seemed to suggest that he was putting a stop to the debate becasue he did not agree with it.
3 large pictures and 2 of them just damn patterns..yet I am being attacked for wanting them removed. i see noone here saying, hey jetblue that was pretty harsh...nope.

that's because he removed the pictures. so now i have no way to know if he was being harsh at all.
perhaps it didn't really matter whether or not it was more appropriate to ask him to text-link... but it does matter that he in fact ended up removing them.
and yeah, i probably would play chess with you if you hadn't told me, but since you already did... =)
...i just don't get any satisfaction out of playing with drunk guys. unless we're both drunk, of course.

Dunno what this is about but theres a quote I'd like to make.
"I may not agree with what you have to say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."

I don't mean to take sides, but assuming posting a few pictures in a thread is an attempt to stop people from posting in it is rediculous. If you have a decent browser the thread will load anyways, and images can be turned off. For us broadband users, even slow loading images rarely pose a problem. I think this topic was more an attempt to bring more attention to yourself, and was very uncalled for. I've seen signatures larger then 500k on some forums...
Enough. Thread closed.
