Use this topic to provide links to places to find information on game music albums and lyrics. Of course, you can use RPGN to find lyrics for many games, but there are also many other great resources out there for information, biographies, and tracklists.
http://www.chudahs-corner.com/ - Great resource for tracklists and album information.
http://www.gmronline.com/ - A database of VGM information, updated by users.
http://www.altpop.com/stc/ - Soundtrack Central, lots of game music reviews and other goodies can be found here.
http://www.vgmusic.com/ - A huge collection of game music in MIDI format. Good for finding those older songs, and getting the names of a track if you have a tune in your head :music:
Feel free to add your own resource links.

Hosting some of the more known Japanese composer Official English homepages. Some good information there.

If you're really hardcore, you can find tracklists for just about every game album here:
http://cgi.mediamix.ne.jp/~t0425/user-cgi/search.htm (http://cgi.mediamix.ne.jp/%7Et0425/user-cgi/search.htm)
They're all in Japanese, though.
Another useful one is Yahoo Japan Auctions:

http://www.vgmp3.com
This site has weekly updates of vgm requested by any who get on the forum at the right time. However, if that's a hassle, they have a thread:
http://vgmp3.mooo.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=3315
This thread is much like this one, except has a ton of links to have a go at.

I don't suppose anyone has any news on Soundtrack Central (STC) (http://www.altpop.com/stc/)? The web site has been down for quite some time yet, and no one I've talked to so far has any clue what's going on... I've tried Coco's, Chudah's, and Slightly Dark's message boards with no luck.

I suggest you edit your post "you cant convert" ---> "you CAN convert".
There are already enough people who are confused by MP3 conversion :wonder:

Well, there's a big difference between the two. :D
But, I can't see how ripping your own music could be easier. Grab a pack of SPCs or PSFs or whatever, get the appropiate input plugin for Winamp, and set the output to the MP3 writer plugin. (I use this one: http://winamp.com/plugins/details.php?id=177 - The first, and the easiest. :P) Be sure to set what directory the plugin should write the MP3s to though, or else you'll end up with a mess of MP3s. Then, just add the songs into a playlist, hit play, and let the computer kick back for a while. Then just tag them (Usually consists of adding artist and album names, and then just cleaning up the title which it grabs from the file name. (I use iTunes for tagging. :P GO MASS TAGGING.))
...actually, looking at that big paragraph, it doesn't SEEM so simple. XD
EDIT: Oh crap, I just realized that I just necroposted. :P
