Hey folks, it's been a dog's age since I had the server open to the public. But it's finally a reality! I recently added all the music I had accumulated in my Temp directory (from #gamemp3s) and I'm up to over 400 albums served now.
Hopefully I will have the server on for longer periods of time than before. Comcast recently increased my upload bandwidth to a maximum of around 48k/s. When I'm doing normal internet surfing, I have the server capped at 38k/s. When I have torrents running, I'll have it off completely. But when I'm doing neither, I'll take the cap off and let it run at the full 48k/s. :)
Check out these two web sites for login information and a list of albums:

I use AOL and will defend them:) Anybody can pretend to be underage anywhere on the web, aol is no different to yahoo instant messenger etc....
I use aol becasue they have a nice email service, no download limit, the cheapest in my country (England) for this and 512K bit service (especialy when i haggled them to 20 pounds a month).
Only bad things are a. the usb modem they send you free is a bit crap and b. software is still a bit buggy. In time this will be sorted:)
yeah, hope everything goes well with your comp too:)

wow, an AOL defender ! *takes a photo*
Here in France, there are so many good ISP's that choosing AOL means that either you're an advertisement victim, or you like pain and suffering http://www.rpgamers.info/images/smilies/evilgrin.gif
In Finland we don't have AOL, so HA! :)

Some news:
Many of you may have noticed my server has not been up the past few weeks. It's because my cable internet connection has been cutting out completely everyday from about 9 or 10 in the morning until about 5 or 6 in the evening. Everyday. Comcast (my ISP) finally came out today to take a look, and from what I can tell, it's fixed. I will test it over the next few days and if all is well I'll put the server back up. :)

Hey, you have comcast right? Because my connection is having the exact same problem. Can you tell me how you/they fixed it?

Yeah, I have Comcast. They way they "fixed" it was to open up the panel in the living room where the main cable comes into the apartment and put in some new cable. There's a splitter there that splits the cable into the three rooms (two upstairs bedrooms and the living room) and all the cable was jammed in there. The guy said because the cable was folded on top of itself it was preventing the signal from getting through. During the day, it gets real hot in there so the cable expands and makes the area even tighter. So I guess he could have been right. Everything seems to be ok now from Comcast's end.
