RPGN Moderator Election

Dear RPGamers,

This is Locke Cole coming to you live from RPGN HQ to bring you the latest news about ... stuff. Tonight I bring you the latest details about the 2005 Moderator Election!

That's right, I have decided now that our forum is comfortably in place, and all is going well, that we could use a helping hand on the moderator squad. Currently, I am the only forum moderator for our board, and since I have not been able to find the time to participate in our discussions as much as I'd like to, I'm calling upon you, the visitors, to select someone fit to help me in keeping RPGN a great place to come and post.

What do you have to do? It's simple really. The first step of this election is to find people willing to become forum moderators, and nominate them. The top 5 nominations will then move on to the second stage of the election. So, how do you nominate your top choice? Follow these simple steps:

a. Each person picks only one person to nominate.
b. Contact the person you would like to nominate, and ask them if they would be interested in the position.
c. In a few sentences, describe why you have selected to nominate this person, and state who you are nominating. Please make it clear and to the point.

Please do not use this thread for any other discussion at this time. Its hard to sort through conversation to find official nominations, so please if you wish to discuss it, create a second thread for that purpose.

I Lord Draud, Lich from the Void, and all powerfull inhuman being step forward and nomonate my self ( if i can do that ) i post in many fourms and check up on all the major ones at least twice a day. i think that i would be perfect for this job because dispite some moodyer posts i have been non-hatefull in my posting, just plain old evil and we all know evil is not a bad thing. second i think that its about time that I try and take on more repsonsobiltys. and lastly i already have nomonations to become the world leader so why not start small? i can always take over the world later

I nominate BAMAToNE. Hmm.. why... He's very friendly and I think he's also very smart. Since he's already 24 (or was it 25?) he's probably one of the most experieced people here, in fact of life and other things learned by time. It can only be helpful to solve some sorts of problems. Actually, in my opinion, its the best to nominate someone who is a little bit older than most of the other users here. :)

I'll nominate silverDistortioN. Because he is such a good bloke all around :D Reasonable and seemingly :dance: intelligent.

I nominate Kilu because he's among the most senior members of the boards (he predates Zedie, as a matter of fact), and he's one of the most frequent posters around here; he is much in tune with the boards. furthermore, as an operator in #RPGN, he has demonstrated that he can handle power without abusing it.

I nominate Kilu, because he's been here for a long time and posts regularly without saying bullshit. More than that, I've seen him posting to help new members and discussing about serious issues since my arrival on the old forums... IMO, he has the perfect profile to be a mod :)

I would nominate Kilu as well. Although I'm not a senior member here...post wise, I have seen him as a very helping hand around here. Zedie and Yume also seem good but I would go for Kilu.

I tend to look at things objectively and without bias, and I do skim through most of the forums, I just dont have alot to post.

I am nominating Kilu as well.
For similar reasons as the others have mentioned.
He is helpful, often polite, and doesn't hold back when criticism seems neccessary. He's around very often, and most of the forum members know him.
Plus I think he really cares about the forums, and has a high interest in keeping them a nice place (correct me if I misjudged you there :D )

Of the past few months, Kilu sticks out the most in my mind and what I have read from Kilu in the past has me believing that he will make a great contribution to a vastly growing forum community, whom show great respect his way.

Yup,its pretty much over.
But my vote will still go to the one who promises not to change posts around all the time because there in the wrong place. Very annoying.
And lock topics even when there still alive. Or delete sigs.
And send warning PM's every 10 minutes for every little thing I write.
And most important,no time outs or 24 hour bans. I hate those soooo much.
