Since we don't a thread like this yet (that I know of anyway), might as well make one, right? In the old forums we had atleast one official thread lik ethis, and couple other threads which sort of went offtopic into pictures and later back into some other stuff. However, not all members posted their pictures in there, I for one. My excuse, no camera. And no recent enough picture to scan. Other people had other excuses (oh no, I don't have any hosting space!) or the same as me. Well, hosting space excuse doesn't work, because Locke has that lintbox hosting service where everyone can get a small account for stuff like this. Enough rambling already.

No one (except for my brother, pikatsu) here knows what I really look like. I used to have that avatar of me, but it had all kinds of weird effects poured on top of it and it was red and evil. Well, now the time of revelation and horror has come. I'm here to post my real mugshot. Run for your lives.

It's sunny and cold today, and my room's walls are white, that's why I'm surrounded with light. The window poster on the right is Belldandy, from the Ah ! My Goddess series. It looks real nice when enlightened from the outside :)

The camera sort of sucks when taking pictures with such a close range with flash thingy on (and I would have gone blind as well :D ), so I went by the closest window to get some natural light instead. *listening to Cold White Light by Sentenced* :) Not really, but it would have suited the moment quite well :D

Don't worry Yume, I'm not going to hit you for asking. :D About my sister yes, she's very fond of video games/anime/mangas (I'm the one to blame about it, your Honor !).
Maybe you're right about the otaku scene, but it is quite a recent phenomena (maybe Zeugma could talk about it too) : there is more and more French channel who are showing (not sure about the word) anime. Recently, we had Excel Saga, Noir, FMA... I don't know why but the "otaku phenomena" is increasing.
It is not true about video games, though. I always have a lot of difficulties to find RPG other than Final Fantasy and there are quite expansive.
Ahem, back to the topic now :D.

One I have blue hair,another blond,and then bald. Now I have a mohawk.
And I was'nt alone in the pics. I usally had my arm over my gir....ex-girlfreind or kissing her.(burning picture's on stove)or of my brothers hitting me or something.
Anyway Im really hideous. One front tooth is missing the other is chipped in half. Pale skin,scar and dent on forehead.
When I had blue hair and wore all black contacts I resemble the guy in my sig and avatar and profile pic. Thats why I choosed it long ago.

Found these pics on my HD from when I still had the camera. I got to get it back.
Beutiful sunsets every day from my room window. Forest is on the side and in distance. Deer sometimes come up to the fence. Its all covered in snow now.

It was while driving at very fast speeds.
The other pics are of my room,mom and bros and sisters and other chicago buildings.
Damn camera was also a recorder and has a small clip I made of a old boarded up house showing irish masonary on the front. It was later bulldozed. I hate it when they destroy old houses. This 1920's synagogue is schedualed for demolition. Very unusal architecture.

That's obvious in my school : our video club specialized in asiatic movies & anime gets more and more members every year. The younger students are more and more aware of what's being made on the other side of the planet.

All of this happened in the first place thanks to the IRC channels on the internet (our first fansub teams), but also 'thanks to' the low quality of the animation we are daily provided on national TV (that's my point of view).

Now that there is a real demand on the market, outstanding TV channels such as Canal + and MCM start broadcasting more stuff from Japan (not only Yu-Gi-Oh ! and Digimon, thanks God), and the anime DVD sections of the largest shops seem to grow larger than before, even if half of their items are very old series that happened to be on TV in the early 90's (au Club Dorothée, for those who remember ;) ).

If you're not convinced by japanese animation, go to your nearest theater and buy two tickets : one for Howl's Moving Castle, and the other for Squarepants Spongebob : The Movie. I let you choose your side.......

Elhaym - I visited for a few reasons. The biggest reason was to attend the Senior Bowl. It's a football game for graduating college players (like an all-star game) so that they can showcase their talent for NFL scouts (professional football league).

I also visited the battleship U.S.S. Alabama and saw the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit.

I know about not being sure how to look in front of a camera - it feels awkward, and often looks artificial - often I think that this doesn't look like me at all...

I have a confession. I to havent shaved for weeks. I think I got 4 1/2 weeks of facial hair. I like it. It has defined my face very well and matches with my mohawk. Its not to thick and its black and light brown in some places. Im going to let grow more and see how long I can stand the itching. But when I look in the mirror I look completely diffrent.

no doubt, i also don't shave too often, but the trimmer on the electric razor makes it easy for me to keep that wonderful "stubble/five o'clock shadow" look that my girlfriend seems to love. i really only shave it all off like once every two weeks or so, just so my face can breathe a little, and i just like to.

Hehe, actually I don't travel that much... Lately has been an exception. Just consider that I took my first trip in a plane ever on last January (I'm 27) and you will know what I mean. :p Paris isn't far away since that's where I live ; Corsica is further, but that was the first time I went there (having known my Corse friend for 7 years and never visiting her there). As for Ukraine which I mentioned in another thread... Well my brother did marry with an Ukrainian girl so I'm not the one who chose, I just followed ! :rofl:

But I sure enjoy travelling, and would do it more if I had a chance. ^^

Used a camcorder, filmed same part twice with me on opposite sides, melded each half back together, shit camcorder nice effect. used on back to future etc but now this affect is not really used thanks to advances in technology
