The soundtrack is good, different than John Williams vision but not bad. I wasrather deceived to see Patrick Doyle didn't kept all the themes from the previous movies. "Voldemort" is a good example, he did not use the dark theme of Williams even though his composition gives a good feeling of who Voldemort is.

If you'Re wondering of it sound, think of a mix between Elfman and Goldenthal, mixed by some of Williams.

And it's the first HP soundtrack to contain pop/rock songs. "Do the Hippogriff", "This is the NIght"

Yeah, I think he does all the music for Abrams now, as he's doing MI 3 as well. What is cool about the LOST music is that, after they filmed the initial plane on beach scenes at the beginning, the packed up parts of it to be used in the sound. Comes in instead of cymbals and such. Sort of a neat aside.

And I'll take boom tsih beats on Alias every day of the week when it involves Jennifer Garner [pre-pregnancy] or Rachel Nichols in something sexy.

Im listening to Legend of Legaia ost ive been building up from loose tracks i found on dc++hubs and emule. I started to hum a tune a week ago and i could'nt remember where i heard it. Finally i figured it was legend of legaia. But again my mind has tricked me. it has been so many years since i played the tune in my mind got distorted over time. It sounds so diffrent now.
