It is with great sadness that I am forced to close the FTP server permanently due to a warning recieved today from my ISP warning me to cease all activities of copyright infringement including all movie and music sharing. I have no choice but to comply to there request. Thank you all for you time in using and donating to my server. I have had much fun. To all of those still running an FTP server, I guess keep your guard up because they are coming.

- Full Metal Alchemist : Flightless Angel OST is not an anime but a game soundtrack
- Same for I.C.O.
- TM Revolution is not an anime but a J-Pop band that plays music for anime (Gundam Seed opening and ending songs, for example)

I have seen this error message many times before from various people. Usually changing between active/passive mode has helped. Try it, maybe it works, maybe not. Worth a shot.

I'm not having any trouble logging in, and I haven't heard anyone else is, maybe double cheking your settings, or turning passive mode on/off might help. Let me know. Port should be 21 not 192.168.0.1.5.170..

No your not dim, I downloaded the FTP client that you use and it happened to me to. All the other FTP clients seem to work fine. I'm honestly at a loss on how to fix it. Maybe someone else has some idea's if there is a setting I need to change as well? I am using the bulletproof ftp server.

Hi, guys. I'm new to this forum. I was just looking for the Stand Alone Complex OST (What can I say? The music hooked me into the anime. Inner Universe = O_O ) and stumbled onto this. Before I go and download it, I noticed the sharing requirement, and I figured that I might have something everyone here might like. I have in my posession both Grand Theft Auto OST boxsets: the Vice City boxset and the San Andreas boxset. The boxsets total 115 discs and about 250 songs (including the DJ chatter, station ID's and commercial skits). The music is in unprotected AAC format (the format used by iTunes: for the record, I have an iPod as well- a U2 Edition version, thank you very much. :dance: ) and can be easily converted to MP3 format. The sound is almost CD-like in terms of quality. I will be more than happy to upload it to the FTP if you guys are interested. Considering the file sizes, if I upload them, I will upload 15 individual zip files (one for each disc) instead of one or two huge files: I may be new here, but I'm not stupid. :biglaugh:

You're doing a fantastic job as it is and at least people can leave you your feedback etc in the thread. With the mirrors they just take what they want and dont thank or pay appreciation to your collection.

It is with great sadness that I am forced to close the FTP server permanently due to a warning recieved today from my ISP warning me to cease all activities of copyright infringement including all movie and music sharing. I have no choice but to comply to there request. Thank you all for you time in using and donating to my server. I have had much fun. To all of those still running an FTP server, I guess keep your guard up because they are coming.
I can't say I'm sorry to see you go, but I wanted to point out that ISP's have NO RIGHTS to touch an FTP.
