Whch Suikoden Game do you think is Better?

I think The 2nd One was the better but the 3rd one was also very good that almost won the first place in my opinion, What you think?

Hell I would love to give an honest final say, but Suikoden 3 never got a release in the UK as far as I know. So for me it is the second :).

The third one wasn't released in my country either, I hope the fourth will.
To me the first one was the best, i think the musics are much better tha, in the second and third one and it has a more beautiful story ( snif Gremio :'( )

well look kilu, the fact that 2 country are fighting and the fact that in the story of mankind there has there wars and the trechorous ways of the ppl involved and the startegies and all the thing that involves the second one, with exceptions of the neclord stage and the fact that the world is in balance for the runes but the story its more realistic and complex thatn the first one (EXCEPTION.TED's BACKGROUND hehehehe)

I agree, the story is much more complex but I don't think realistic is the appropriate word, of course the second's story is less Star-Warsian ^^ but the first was also about war, I admit that Suikoden II uses more strategy but the first story was more interesting to me because of the characters. And I loved the music in the first, I think Miki Higashino really took the feeling of the game, more than in the second one.

well, for me Suikoden 1 was mor Fantastic more like a final fantasy, good story good music but never would happen anything like that (BURN A VILLAGE IN THE TOP OF A TREE WITH A BURNING MIRROR,¬_¬ ok ok if you put the reflex of the sun in the mirror in direction of the tree for a big period of time the tree would set on fire, but you understand me) and the fact that one of the castle was protected by an enormus rose it was very unrealistic, I love the 1st one, But the Story of the 2nd one, think about it in ancient war there were rituals to massacre ppl to their gods (Muse Masaccre by Luca to the Beast Rune) the only unrealistci thing that I found was Neclord Scenario and The Beast Rune at the end. But thats my 2 cents

Suikoden II, hands down ! Superb story, music, characters... Could have been just a bit longer though.

since my ex gf was an uber-mega-super genso suikoden fan.. I was forced to consume everything lol. Well.. it's not that I dislike it. I really like to play suikoden. Hmm.. its hard to chose between I & II but.. I think II was better in my taste. No part of genso suikoden is REALLY bad... all very good in their own way but II is brilliant.
Hmm.. sadly.. I cant say anything to Suikoden III since it wasnt released here -_-' But the time will come, where I get all the imports and play them in a row ;)

that's a difficult question.
I think I liked the first two games equally :D.
Suikoden 1 has a great soundtrack, and a few moents of the story were very tragic and touching....
With Suikoden 2, the music wasn't as good as in the first part, but the story took more time to develop, and there were more side-stories...I liked how the story developed and lead to the enmity between the two friends....though I failed to see enough reasons for it. They could have done things differently, why chose the path they took?
Suikoden 3, I haven't played yet...like so many other newer games.

I think that too but when I see the sumarie of Suikogaiden I understand a Lot of things anyway Both of them are good but Like I said before the 2nd one was the best hehehe

I believe the best is Suiko 2, overall way better than the first one; even if the first one still has a special place in my mind. :)

The worst is the 4, while the third isn't that enjoyable.

While I didn't get a chance to vote on the poll, I'll say that the original Suikoden was my favorite out of the four that are out. But II comes in a close 2nd, if that's any consolation. I think the last two have dragged this series down somewhat.
