Let's revive these boards, see them live again! Its been fairly quiet lately, drag a friend on over and get them to join us. Rawr! :P

What's everyone been up to these days? I assume the slowdown is probably due to school and such, but I figure I'd post a topic and see what you all have to say. What brings you back to post on our forums? Do they lack anything? Feedback is always welcomed.

Ha, so you noticed too ? ;) I guess school is the main factor, yes - school and work for those who have a job. I wonder where Zedie went ! (>.<)

AND THE OTHERS TOO !!! (è_é)
*big eyes*

Yuffie, Cyrano, Charon, Mithrandir, Elhaym, everyone, just what are you doing right now ? XD
We need you. :(

I for one have been away for a few days, during which I practically never check my mails / forums / etc. The thing is, I go to Gigi's place about every 2 or 3 weeks, so every now and then there are a few days when you won't probably hear of me. But I always come back ! :)

Well, I'm still here. But the problem obviously is that I don't like to post alone :) :D

Sure, there are topics to post in, but the less there are other posters, the less I have to say :(

:) I've been working a lot of overtime. And with the increase in work hours comes the obvious decrease in free time. When I read the boards, I become a Post Junkie™ - something I couldn't afford. Now, I blame Kilu and Jim for my lack of sleep this morning. Bastards. :p ;)

Did you really think de Hero would abandon you guys?:w00t: A true Hero never abandons his friends! I'm here, I've been reading your words of *ahem* wisdom from time to time. Can't speak for the others on that list, though...

Life's just been keeping me busy lately. College's finally gotten the better of me. This is defintely my last semester there. Even the bravest heroes with the largest of noses can't win every battle...:(

I've been working and schooling and aggrivated the last two weeks. All my free time has been put into getting my computer up and running again. Last week I was running on an old 8.4 gig I have. Then the week before that I was futily trying to get my fairly new 200 Gig hd to work again. It was failing to be recognized right. It had the option to limit the size to 32 gigs for older computers until you install the seagate software to allow the operating system to recognize it all. I believe that chip shorted because it would only recognize that at any maximum and I could not get around it no matter what seagate told me to do. RMA's it and this one works like a dream.

Sorry for the rant but not much of a good place to rant and at the same time this explains it all. I'll be around more soon but not right now.

Well its good to hear that we are not forgotten, I just hope our forums will grow to become as active as before, if you would have called them that ;)

I'm always inviting people to come join us, but its so hard to find good forum people these days. Theres just too many forums out there to pick from. :o

Elhaym, Otter and Dragon Master are the first ones to come to mind. Elhaym made a quick stop by, but vanished again :( Otter visited the IRC channel a while back, but that aside, she is also MIA. And I don't even remember when was the last time I saw Dragon Master.

For the more masculine (using the word very loosely here  ) users, Zedie is absent more than his share, Kyari is on a mission, GMF and Peteju both disappeared way before the new forums. Just to name a few.

Well, the reason I really lagged out and hardly ever came here was because- don't take offense- I just flat out didn't care enough. That sounds harsh, but it's true. Nothing against you guys. That and these new forums are slower to load with all the pictures with my 56k modem... damn dial-up connection!

But, I would never leave entirely. RPGN will always have me for its hero!:D

Hehe... :)

It's just a smiley, asian-style. I think they're more expressive than the 90°-left ones ! :p
The ( and ) make the head, the / is a waving arm ; ^^ is for the smiling eyes, and o makes a cute mouth (like "hellooo"). :D

It's just a matter of imagination, you can mix many characters together and create new smileys easily - the hardest part being to be read correctly by other people. ^^

Cardboard box, puddle, hunk of astroturf, stagnent pond, and an empty prigles can with a paper cheese flag in it.
It's all a matter of perception really...

I think testing isn't the best job in the video games industry (if QA is what you do, Neo Stythys) cause you get to play many games - the best and the worst... Whereas when you create games, at least you're the only one to blame when the game you work on is crappy. :D

I believe it was somewhere in the gaming->roleplaying area. AND if my memory serves me, the threads name was worst rpg ever. The thread got a bit sidetracked. You can also check out the Intelligent Discussion thread in the same area, which contains some of the catalyst that led to the events in the other thread.

It was very interesting. That was some of the best post making I ever read.
Bravo kilu and the rest of you. I cant stand rabid fanboy's either.

And still you were all so polite. No cursing. I would of said some big time curse words.

I would of said exactly what BigJimSlate said and buy a used x-box if she was so concerned.

I still dont own a x-box. Ive bought a lot of games for it from closeout sales. I saved up about 80 $ to buy one but I am despretly trying to buy on e-bay a 3do and u.s. neo geo cd console. I recently got a bunch of games for both systems and must try them out so x-box will have to wait. And I got to start saving up for RE4. The shops are already taking pre-orders.

FF6 I believe :) It's the worst rpg I have played. I tend to not to play the crappier ones :) But that was irrelevant to the issue that exploded afterwards.

I started reading it around 7:00 pm And finished around 10:30.

:) It was a long read eh :D

I also need to get my hands on RE4 as soon as it arrives in Europe, which is still far away, but still. I don't own xbox either, there has not been enough games that would interest me to make the purchase yet. Also, I don't have money :)
