Ok I got the Dreamcast when it first came out and i got a few games... but b4 i could even start a good collection they quit making stuff. Think it would be a good idea to trade it for a game cube i saw at block buster for only $70??

:D I personally never buy used consoles, so my advice would be to save up for one of the relatively inexpensive GameCube bundle packs. Meanwhile, DC games are still available for purchase if you look hard enough for them, and they are all pretty good deals. :bouncy:

I've never played Dreamcast, but Gamecubes are really down in price right now, and I saw a few selections I might enjoy if I got one. I also would make use of the GBA-to-TV using the GameCube features, as I prefer to play games on the big screen when at home :p

Locke is on a mad posting spree :)

I have never played Dreamcast either. So, I can't really say anything about it's games and whatnot. However, I can recommend Gamecube to you. From this generations consoles, Gamecube is by far my favourite.

Not a mad posting spree, I'm just far behind in my postings. I haven't said much in the past week or so on here :)

The main reason I considered GameCube was because it has many multiplayer games. We usually have friends over and it sucks when theres a group of 3 or 4 people, and someone is playing an RPG or something. We lack multiplayer goodies, and I saw some that looked alright on GC... can't think of any right this second though.

The new Mario Kart is a ton of fun always :)

My main reason for getting GC was the RE series. But in the end, there are lots of other great games as well.

:D That GameBoy Player is awesome - I only wish it also circumvented the need for the link adapting for some of the multiplayer games. :spin:

And Mario Kart Double Dash is a great game, too, though if I had my way, it would have a bit more of Mario Kart 64 in it. :bouncy:

Keep your DC ;_; It's really hard to find them anymore, and it has some really great games if you look hard enough.

Cubes may be $100, but with the new Metroid bundle, it's not a bad deal (assuming you like the games in the GCN library).
