I don't care what dictionary says, album is album, game rip is game rip. And besides, that first definition is quite vague as I see it. Wouldn't every game be album then, because they all have musical recordings in them?


Anyway, that's beside the point. Point is that people whould not call game rips albums, same as people should not call psf rips albums either. It confuses people with less knowledge on soundtracks and whatnot.

Wouldn't every game be album then, because they all have musical recordings in them?:roll: Sure, if you want to skew the definition to encompass such trivialities... but as long as we're arguing semantics, include television. :p I don't think either definition is too vague to cover a collection of musical compositions whose sole purpose is to be listened to together - an album. ;) You use whatever label you like for such a grouping, but don't try to hold me to it, especially when I've backed up my opinion with the dictionary. :p

This sorta gives me the idea that there would be no official soundtracks in there. However, there is, now that I look closely. So, I guess I jumped the gun here. But I still think that dictionary.com is too vague.

yeah we do have a couple OFFICIAL albums if thats the distinction you are looking for :D but we are not looking for more. if i want official osts i just logon to a few great ftps from GFF and bingo. we try to reserve our space for rips that dont exist anywhere else.
