Reccomendations?

As mentioned, I have lots of free time. So I was going to download an anime series or two and watch them but then I realized I haven't kept up with anime series for a very long time. I suppose I'll run down some of my favorites but as long as its good I don't care too much.

ive seen trigun, cowboy bebop and trinity blood and watch bleach in spurts.
Not really a fan of romantic comedy, which is what oh my goddess is if i recall.
